  • I went here with my fiance hoping to have a dinner similar to other steak houses I've visited. This was sadly not the case as this was one of the steak worst meals I've ever had. I ordered the New York strip loin as recommended by the waitress. The steak was slightly overcooked not a big deal but wasn't impressed. They do something really weird with the steak they lay it on top of what they claimed are "garlic mash". They didn't let the steak rest so all the blood soaked into the potatoes by the time it arrived at my table. This now leaves my potatoes pink in addition to flavorless. The "veggies" consisted of ONE small piece of broccoli and ONE small piece cauliflower with thinly sliced piece of carrot. Overall the steak was not seasoned overcooked and the potatoes were terrible. Go anywhere else, this was not worth $80 I wouldn't even of been happy if it was free.

  • Since this is a steak and seafood restaurant we both ordered the new york strip steak. Both of our steaks were overcooked and the quality of the meat was extremely poor. The steaks were not seasoned at all and if you wanted seasoning it was an EXTRA $3.00! The garlic mashed potatoes were cold, hard and tasted like dirt! Their famous prime rib soup tastes like crap too. The only thing that tasted well was the grilled mushrooms which were $5.00, and the buns were fresh and warm. This place is way too expensive for the quality of meats they serve. If you want a nice steak go to The KEG! Oh, and there is a girl who walks around a sings...I wasn't sure if we should tip her or not because she stares at you while she is walking by...very uncomfortable moment!

  • Order: prime rib soup, cesar salad, and new york strip meal with mashed potatoes.

  • My hubby ordered Prime rib and said it was wonderful. The kids had the ribs which were pretty good. I have 12 year old who was not happy with the choices on the menu. To old for the kids menu but the adult menu was a bit much for her.
I wish the waitress would have suggested something for her off the menu.
The Halibut was disappointing. Dry, and a bit fishy. The crust tasted like shake and bake.
They do offer 25% off your food bill for Niagara residents....that was very nice!
The singing server was a cool effect.

  • Visited during the off-season in December. Extremely disappointed! Food was horrible and service was slow. Steaks below average for price. Rice Pilaf cold and bland. Dinner rolls not hot or fresh. Not worth the money!!! Ate at The Keg the day before and that was much, much better. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

  • The food is amazing, tender and tasteful. The atmosphere is lovely and the singing waitresses are wonderful. Would recommend all food on the menu except the appetizers which we have found are not really worth it except the brushetta (which is the best we have ever had!) and the garlic bread with cheese. We are regular customers and are always treated well when we come in. The table bread is always fresh and warm and the food is always out of this world!! My boyfriend and I are Niagara regulars and know most of the restaurants very well and always have to find at least one meal every trip dedicated to Remington's!

  • Order: Chicken Supreme, Baby Back Ribs, Prime Rib, Brushetta

  • From the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food, this place had it all. We felt at home from the moment we entered the restaurant. Our server was amazing, very attentive to our needs and on the ball. The prime rib was done perfectly and the dessert was amazing. We definately intend on visiting again in the future.

  • Based on the reviews here we visited this restaurant while in Niagara Falls this past long weekend.

I had the 10oz NY Striploin, it was cooked perfectly, the way they normally cook the steaks is without any seasoning, if you want additional seasoning, you can request it when you order the steak. The veggies I got were good, they were freshly steamed. I also had a rice pilaf as a side, which were ok, perhaps a tad on the bland side. The lobster tail that I added was decent in size, however, as can be expected it probably was frozen, but it tasted decent.

My fiance had the baby back ribs, which were really good. perfectly cooked to fall off the bones, decently seasoned, and quite a large portion.

The other couple we were with ordered a prime rib special, which was 40 bucks for two. The prime rib must have been at least 16oz cooked when they arrived to our surprise. They were cooked perfectly as well. The only minor complaint here is there was no gravy provided.

Overall, the experience was very good, we were a bit surprised that the restaurant was fairly empty on a saturday night around 8pm, but that was to our advantage as the food came fairly quickly.

One of the waitresses also sang several songs in between sets and was a nice touch.

    Highly recommended!
