The most exciting atmosphere for the entire family.
Little did I know that this "jungle decor" restaurant, which is recessed in a little alcove near the bottom of Clifton Hill, would be as fun as it was for my family...
My kids (and frankly myself too) were in awe at the sounds and visuals of this establishment. Light & sound were used to simulate Thunderstorms. Large animatronics replicas of Jungle animals moved and growled... Live snakes and reptiles were also there for the viewing...
The service was fantastic, with very attentive staff... the food was good, the price was relatively reasonable for the Niagara Falls Tourist area... - Order: awesome appetizer (sampler), chicken salad sandwiches, ice tea

Where do I begin? When we arrived at the hostess stand, it took 5 min to be greeted with no other customers around and 4 "hostesses" chatting with each other. An employee who wasn't on shift had a quick chat with the girl that was seating us, forcing us to stand there while they finished. We were sat at a table that was soaking wet and one of the napkins had spilled pop on it. When our meals arrived, my wife's pasta dish had some black dirty smudges along the rim. We tried to track down someone but after 8-9 min I decided to walk the dish up to the bar where 3 managers were hanging out. She took the dish back to the kitchen and our server delivered another one a short time later. The pasta was dry and tasteless and my wife only ate a few bites. When the server cleared the table, she asked if we wanted it packed up and when we told her that it wasn't very good she just apologized and took it away. The manager never came back to the table but did a 50% discount on the pasta. My steak was served on a slice of bread which was soggy and my fries were cold. At this point we just wanted to leave even though we were extremely upset about having to pay a $50 bill for food that we didn't even eat. We would like everyone to know how poor their food and service is so that you don't have to pay for the experience. We will never return.

did you really expect a great white shark? Seriously, it's a rainforest with a shark tank- how can you be upset??
The two of us visted the Rainforest on valentines day of all days- so the restaurant was quite busy. We were told the wait would be 45-55 minutes so we were very surprised when there was a table ready in about half an hour. The seating sytem was quite efficent.
I have been to the rainforest before and I have to admit, the service was slow and the food was 'meh;- but tonight the service was fast, friendly and excellent. The food was also quite good.As for the price- this restaurant is located on freaking Clifton Hill niagara falls and is a giant interactive rainforest- of course the food and drinks are going to be a pit pricey, but it is 100% worth it for the excellent atmosphere.

Burger, peameal bacon sandwich plus 2 waters equals more than $36, are you serious? Had we ordered real drinks our meals would sure have been way too pricey. The food was crappy, service was slow, service was very unenthusiastic, atmosphere was disappointing, annoying, and crappy. The place was practically empty and they sat us next to a family of screaming kids.
Billboards advertised shark display (portraying large shark), when we arrived only one shark and it looked like a dogshark! Very disappointing.
They should bulldoze this rainforest for a parking lot.

What a marvel of a place to enjoy a quick lunch.
(tourist trap)
It boasts an incredible lunch menu selection.
(soup & sandwiches)
The atmosphere is truly a great experience.
(to distract you from pricing)
There are live sharks swimming about!
(so you don't pay attention to the poor service)Overpriced ,terrible food that lacks imagination, servers that can't wait for you to leave cause their shift is ending. She actually did leave, the bartender gave us our bill.
Take a walk through,it's free to see. Don't sit down! - Order: sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers

My husband and I went to the falls for our anniversary we had prime rib at the Marriott (wonderful) the next day we decided to check out the Rain forest Cafe . Well we waited 30 minuets to get seated but hey its busy. They put us at a little table with one of the chairs out in the walk way of the servers when I asked to move they were rude about it. My new table was sticky and my menu has someone else's food all over it. My server was very polite and wiped the menu and table. Everything was going good we ordered our food and I decided to go wash up before lunch.
In the washroom four of the toilets were out of order there was paper all over the floor the garbage was overflowing. I went back to my table and my husband convinced me not to leave. I didn't enjoy my lunch all I could think was " If they keep their washrooms this dirty that the customers see how do they keep their kitchen that their customers don't see!"
I mean really you can always judge a restaurant's kitchen by their washrooms. - Order: appatizer and some sort of wrap thing

A funtastic experience. Couldn't have asked for better atmosphere or food and service. we had 2 children with us and they loved it. The chicken fried chicken dinner is the best chicken I have ever had. We were in NIAGARA falls for a week and ate there 3 times for dinner because we enjoyed ourselves so much and the food was very healthy. Thanks for a great time. I wish there was a Rainforest Cafe in Ottawa it would be great and we would probably eat there once a week. From a very stisfied consumer

Very dissapointed. No animation except the elephants .Loud mexican music which didnt go with the theme. $16.00 for a wrap and $16.00 for a roast beef sandwich wich I had to pay extra for onions & mushrooms, how expensive is a piece of onion? Priced way too high for what you call casual. The grandchildren seem to like it even tho the sounds system wasnt working My 3rd and last time there .
- Order: 2 kids menus pizza & burger and a beef sandwich & a turkey wrap
