  • Absolutely the worst restaurant experience in my life. Overcrowed, dirty and seated next to the milkshake machine beside the kitchen. We waited OVER an hour for SOME of the food to arrive, and when my son started eating, a sign fell off the wall onto his head. Needless to say, we left. The waitresses were overworked and you felt it from the moment you walked in. I live in Niagara Falls, and this was my fist time at the Flying Saucer, and I will never go back.

  • Cheap, fresh and fast. So the flying saucer concept is big time tacky but hey! Why not? Family Diner type place where the locals go for good reliable food. Breakfast was great : fresh eggs prepared exactly like I ordered, quality bacon, good bread, very good potatoes, yummy pancakes and good coffee… all for a few bucks. If you’re from Montreal think “Dejeuner à la belle province restaurants”. This would be my breakfast spot if I lived in the area. Much better than the all you can eat competition.

  • Have been there many times, it is what it is good cheap greasy food, not designed to compete with the keg, but its in the shape of a giant flying saucer which is excellent. good food and atmosphere for its very low prices

  • to start off the wings my order of wings that i ordered meadium were brought out with the rest of the meals which is excellent because they ussually take a little longer to cook..... however i asked for them to be tossed in medium wing sauce. when i got them i took one bite and it tasted funny. almost like an apple butter barbecue or something like that. i asked her if this was the right sauce and she said yes. to which i asked her what their medium sauce was. which she said was franks hot sauce. which has an orangish colour and my wings were tossed in bbq sauce. she finally took the hint that i knew what type of sauce was on it and took them into the kitchen to make me new ones with the right type of sauce. a little shockingthat it only took about five minutes to get new wings out to me when it took over 35 minutes for the first ones to be ready. this time they had to right sauce so i was very pleased untill i tried to take a bite and noticed that there was still a couple feathers still in the wing. so i picked them out and thought ok lets eat. untill i turned it over and noticed the whole wing was full of feathers infact all of them were. not the worst food in town but close to it. and a really expensive prie for a really tiny and i mean tiny plate of food on a plate that i think was probly there when the place opened up.

  • We ordered their biggest burgers... they were simply Presidents Choice burgers, stacked. Yes the burgers were big (3 patties) but quantity does not make up for bad quality. The patties themselves were all burnt on the sides. I don't know who would consider that acceptable from a restaurant. The staff were very unenthusiastic, and it was so crowded where we sat that people kept bumping against our table when they walked by. I think we saw our server once the entire time we were there. It's horrible food, horrible service, horrible comfort. I will never return and I don't recommend them to anyone.

The only reason this place gets business is because of the stupid flying saucer shape, but it's not worth it.

  • I visited while in the niagara area and have to say myself and the kids were quite excited to eat in a flying saucer.....it was a great idea till we entered.....we came in at a slow time 2:00 to avoid all of the tourists and i have to say it was a super bad idea just after we ordered our food and received our drinks the staff decided to wash the restaurant floors with bleach water the smell was horrible.....but felt like we couldnt leave since the late lunch time the kids were starving......food arrived the amount of onion rings was impressive but when i received my long awaited steak sub.........i was soooo disappointed......the peppers were mushy and disgusting the cheese was cheap processed orange cheese the onions were mushy and greasy like they had been reheated many times before making it onto my sub....the bun was on the verge of being stale.........we will definitely NEVER BE RETURNING!!!!!!!!!!!......IF YOU VISIT NIAGARA FALLS TAKE A PICTURE......DRIVE AROUND IT.....BUT DON'T EAT AT THE FLYING SAUCER

  • This restaurant boasts a $0.99 breakfast, which sounds too good to be true -- but it isn't! You get a generous helping of eggs, toast and home fries. Heck, if it isn't enough, spend $2 and order two servings! The trick is that the waitresses always ask you if you want bacon or sausage, but they don't tell you the price changes. Say "No", otherwise your meal becomes a regular breakfast special, priced at $4 or $5 -- not a big deal at all! But we often figure we're going for breakfast for less than $10, accidentally say "Yes" to the bacon, and end up with a typical breakfast bill of $15-20.

Rumors have abounded in this city for ages that the Flying Saucer has a dirty kitchen and that's why they're so cheap. This is NONSENSE. Check infodine, which lists all the inspection results for each restaurant in Niagara. Flying Saucer has passed every kitchen inspection 100% clean for years.
