The prices were reasonable, the decor is unique, and the views from the windows are scenic. Unfortunately, the service is poor in that it is "very slow". The staff was friendly, but so slow. Many tables were not clean, or being cleaned, even though there was more than one server on duty. Our breakfast orders, despite the restaurant having few diners other than us, took an inexcusably long time to prepare. Unfortunately, I have had this experience before at this restaurant. The food is tasty when it finally arrives. The problem is not the server only, it must also be in the kitchen. I understand golf club members often do not use this restaurant for that reason. As for the banquet facilities, I attended an Easter buffet there on one occasion, and did not have a problem with it. However a friend spoke of a cancelled wedding reception by restaurant management at the last minute with no acceptable reason, and a corporate colleague mentioned that the banquet planning at the administrative level is poorly handled, and they will not likely use them again. Finally, I would add that the restaurant hours are too limited. Has the slow service problem affected demand?
