I felt like we were placed at the front door, we waiting for our seats to be ready, and what do you know, they were right where we were waiting...
Food was ok, but I found it took them a long time for different meats to come, I was done all my salads before they even got to our table. I only saw the waitress for drinks maybe twice. The worst part was at the end with our bills. first off they wouldn't split them into couples, no matter what... which I can understand for large groups, but she added me to two different bills, and it must have taken her (no lie) 45 minutes to get it right., Half the party had left because they were sick of waiting. Very frustrating visit. - Order: buffet

The meat options are awesome and numerous. There is a cold buffet for things like side salads, breads and veggies. Our server drink was attentive and most of the meat servers were nice however occasionally there was one here and there with an attitude. We didn't feel rushed although it was a mid-week visit.

Copacabana is a good restaurant, but not $42.99 good. I found the meat too salty. The lamb was the only thing that wasn't. For the amount you are paying, you would think you can take your time...nope, there's a 2 hour limit. The dancers that performed at 9, were pretty good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drop this kind of cash just to watch them for 10 mins.
The all you can eat Mediterranean place, Jerusalem is wayyyyyy better and they have belly dancers AND it's half the price.
I get it, the servers do a lot of walking around serving and what not. You would think42.99 they charge, includes a tip in there because some people might not tip at the end? Nope, because lo and behold on our bill was a tip they very generously applied. We probably would've tipped them more, but the audacity to apply a tip, to an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET? where everyone is eating the same thing? And you might not get to try all the meats on the menu(so technically not everything is available to you, unless you ask them 5 times atleast)?
Feel like I got ripped off bad. Not sure why the place is popular, the food is nothing to brag about at all (and I love food).
Copacabana isn't a terrible place, but dannng, it's not really worth that much either! - Order: Meats

The food was very disappointing! The servers come around with meat on a skewer that was all cooked med well to well done. Meat was very garlicky and the serving sizes were about 2 - 3 bites so it felt like you were always looking for food. The salad bar was all over dressed salads. We have eaten at Brasa which is the same style restaurant. The food, especially the salad bar, the atmosphere and service are all MUCH MUCH better than Copacabana.
After the dinner, the server never came around and offered coffee, there are no dessert options and we all left hungry. My husband was sick all night and ended up throwing up. Their food is garbage!! - Order: Buffet

We had our meal on the patio by the grill and had first cut from most of the meat and pineapple servings. The food was delicious and the steady stream of meat offerings provided a great variety. Eating at this pace makes it tempting to overeat, but, you want to try every offering that comes out! Service was mostly attentive. The servers pretty much ignore the cool down sign on your table when you have had enough as they seem to know when you really want more!

I made a reservation here for my boyfriend's birthday and was sorely disappointed. We arrived only to be told that they had closed hours ago, and "tried to call" to let us know. The hostess was rude, although she did give us a $50 gift certificate, my boyfriend and I agreed it should have been an amount to cover the cost of 2 meals. We ended up having an amazing meal at the Keg just across the road, which happens to overlook the falls.

What an awful experience we had this evening. We went to celebrate a birthday and was the worst location. We were rushed during our meal, no one came to ask us for drinks and when they did and we made a slight change the waitress rolled her eyes. The staff was rude, and unattentive. SAVE YOUR MONEY, there are way better places. I should have listened when people told me to go to Antica or Napoli,..thought this would be a good change. Furthermore the tables were dirty, no one wiped them down and food on the floor. I will never go back to this place or recommend it to anyone. They should not call it a restaurant but a night club, music super loud you can't have a conversation with anyone. When we got the bill we were shocked on how expensive it was for the crappy service. No wonder they include the tip, BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD LEAVE ONE!!

Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The first time I went I thoroughly loved it, the meat was amazing the atmosphere and band were amazing, service was good.....but the last time I went it was the WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes and then told the wait would be 1 more hour or they could seat my family of 4 were in a makeshift dining area (made to accommodate their growing clientele) which was fine, but WITH A BACHELOR PARTY!!!!!!! the group of about 50 men were loud at the beginning which didn't bother us, I'm all for celebrating and a party atmosphere but as time passed they got more intoxicated and more obnoxious, it was bad...they should have had their party in a PRIVATE room not a restaurant and Copacabana should not have seated a family of 4 next to these men who clearly didn't care they were in a restaurant with other patrons who were also annoyed. As each visit passes the experience has become more and more disappointing. Wait times are not even close to what they say, sometimes the meat is close to 'raw' and the floors are dirty with food. It's clear to me management has gone completely downhill since my first visit about 6 years ago, and is in serious need of restructuring, as the restaurant has gotten extremely busy. My husband and I own several retail businesses in the GTA and value our clients opinions and feed back, Copacabana should do the same. I have had more disappointing visits than good and my family and I have decided to not return!!

This place is great. I loved everything about the building, where it was in the fall just overall a great place to try. The start off they say you don’t need reservations in the winter, but it still gets busy and I suggest that you make them. I unfortunately didn’t, but it wasn’t that bad we went to the bar off to the side and was able to get a beer and watch the live band they had playing there. It is a great environment to be in everything seemed up beat and put me into a good mood. The food there is to die for some of the best cuts of meat I had, and there is not just a couple to choose from, there were 17 different kinds, the salad bar was just as good. I have been there twice now and both times were just as great. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys meat as you will be pleased, and have a great time at this restaurant. Through word of mouth I have already told many friends they need to check out the place and they have done so with the same outcome that I got. They loved it. 10 out of 10 in my books. Check it out!
