Our server was very helpful and made us feel like the only table in the restaurant. It was understated but elegant - a perfect dinner for two location. Looking forward to Valentine's dinner already!

We visited Buchanan's recently and were treated to a superb meal. The entrees were all fresh and very tasty. Our appetizer was phenomenal. The server was very courteous and helpful in menu choices. The restaurant was very quiet and cozy. We are definitely returning.

Firstly, I have no idea why it says "Vietnamese" in the description section; this is an American Steakhouse, or Chophouse, as the name of the restaurant says.
This is a fancy place. I went with a large party from work, after a particularly successful day. Since it's inside of a hotel, I don't think they get much business. It was dead when we went; we had it all to ourselves.
The waiter was great. I ordered a whiskey sour which was gross (too strong), so I asked him to surprise me with something sweet, and he brought me back a madeup cocktail which was quite good.
The lemongrass shrimp and mussels appetizers were delicious, and the salads, though I didn't have any, looked wonderful.
For an entree, I got a pasta dish, and I'm sorry to say that it was rather bland. It tasted like warm paste spread over pasta, with shrimp and scallops. The seafood itself was very fresh and of the highest quality, though.
Go there for a special dinner with great service. (I'm always impressed with a place that specifically serves the lady first, especially since I was the only lady there!) I don't eat beef or chicken, so I wouldn't know from them, but everyone else seemed very pleased with their steaks, and the dining experience itself was wonderful.
