The Old Firehall Restaurant

Second time here. Atmosphere was ruined by a loud, obnoxious man at the bar who thought everyone in the restaurant was interested in his stories.
Salad was the best part of the meal--very fresh & tasty.
Pasta was okay. Broccoli was overcooked and mushy and I prefer my veg al dente. Chicken had quite a few grisly bits on it--kind of ruined it for me.
My husband enjoyed the veal, vegetables and roasted potatoes.
Service wasn't great...especially considering there were only 3 tables including us. We were asked how everything was at the end of the meal when the server was clearing our plates.
The Old Firehall Restaurant didn't impress me so I probably won't be going back.

what a great little place, we went there to try it out as we had heard good things, place was cozy, or food was fantastic, finally a place that doesn't fry calamari,very tasty with that sauce, and the mussels were the best we've ever tried anywhere. The Veal chop was fantastic for the price i've seen it for $38 at most places only $28 here and they give you salad. The penne Christos was also very tasty. Our waiter was a little stiff but very efficient and prompt. We will definitely be going back.

The restaurant doesn't have any ambiance, the service was quick and nice however servers should not answer/make personal phone calls while working. Hearing kitchen staff yell at eachother in the back was unpleasant, the apps: grilled calamari - much too salty and a bit over cooked. Bread served was very good - fresh out of the oven. Salad had too much dressing and I found a hair in it. Pasta dishes had too many flavours all in one dish - sauce tasted like it came from a can, also found another hair in my taglitelle - chefs/kitchen staff - please wear hair nets or your chefs hat to prevent that. For the price that we paid for the meal - it was horrible - not worth my money or time.

food was great....very hardy and tasty....our service was very good as well. will definitley visit again.

Tried to eat here several times in the past, finally got in for lunch. Cute little place, not many seats, nice decor. Angus burger was great, Chicken Hero Pita was tasty but cold, actually the whole place was very cold, had to wrap my coat around my legs. Side salads were huge. Server took awhile to take our order as there was a phone call, but otherwise she was very nice. Will definitely try dinner here sometime soon.

Saganaki was soaking in alcohol ,pasta was waterd down and fries were greasy a big dissipointment!

Food was good. Only complaint was that the Red Snapper was VERY hot! The menu did not say it was going to be spicy. Didn't really like the the wild rice, it was very overpowering as a side. Very small venue, must make reservations. They were turning people away at the door. We would go back as the menu has a nice variety.

The food is great at this place, we were visiting and were recommended to go there, and we were extremely pleased.
The appetizers were great, and the pastas were fantastic. The Veal and steak were perfectly done and were very tasty. We enjoyed it so much we went back the following day for lunch and it was great also.

Place was rundown, menu pricey, service was okay, food was eatible, but that's it. Would definitely not go back. A huge disappointment.

This place is a world away from everyday dining. A small, quaint golden opportunity for an amazing meal and romantic evening with your signifigant other, in all my years, i have encountered no dining expirience with this ambiance. the service was phenominal, and the food delicious. Truly a place everyone should expierence!!!!
