Tetley's Steak & Stone

This restaurant is incredible. There servise is so great. it is the fastest ever. We walked into the restaurant and there was about 5 diffrent groups of people and 1 Waitress. I thought it would take along time for our food to be ready , but i was wrong. I waited aproxametly 15 minutes for my food to come. The atmosphere is not that great. It is very small & the decortions are very diffrent , they have cool paintings and diffrent coulored walls. However i like the bathroom coulor, it reminds me of mcdonals. :). On every table there is hot plates. For dessert they bring you Chocolate fondue and a variety of fruitws. This is a great restaurant to go to. !!!

An absolutely refreshing idea for a restaurant. We've been huge fondue fans at home and the ability to walk into a restaurant and enjoy the same great quality, and the ability to converse for hours while eatin, is well, delightful.

The owner, Joe, was more than attentive to our every needs.

I highly recommend this little joint for something unique and unforgettable.

My husband and I went to Tetley's for dinner during a weekend away...just the 2 of us. Neither of us had been there before and found the atmosphere is be quite enjoyable. We made reservations for 5:30p on a Saturday night. We arrived and were the only ones in the restaurant and therefore very worried. They started turning people away 15 minutes later! They were all booked except for 3 tables and those filled up by 5:45p! We ordered, were able to ask questions concerning the menu (staff were quite helpful!). Dinner arrived and it was a really interesting experience. Decided on the chocolate fondue for dessert...to die for! Definitely a place we'll go back to! Great way to start an evening to the theatre as it's only a block away from the Festival Theatre.

We started with a cheese fondue appetizer and decided to stick to the traditional swiss cheese. It came with cubs of sourdough and pumpernickle, sweet gherkins and pickled onions. The fondue itself was okay - very sharp and a little bitter, but it went excellent with the wine that was recommended.

The fondue was outstanding and the dipping sauces that came with it were great. It was a quiet night, and the waitress was very attentive.

Food was great. Atmosphere was warm and the service was pretty good. I had the meat lovers fondu the first time I went and quite enjoyed it. This time I opted for the 10oz NY strip on the hot stone. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone in the group really enjoyed their food. When I decided to add a review I read a few others and someone mentioned that tip is added to the bill. There was no mention of this on the menu or by our server and I didn't look that close when the bill came. We tipped %20 on a fairly large tab. I would like to think that if tip was included, there wouldn't be a spot for it on the M/C receipt. Better check to see if this is the case.

My husband & I have been to Tetley's about 4 times....we have never experienced any bad service or delays in our food order...food has always been fresh, and the service has been great! We are going back there again in 2 wks!!

I was excited to try this restaurant on a recent trip to NOTL. After reading the reviews I was prepared for slow service, however I did not anticipate a 50 min wait from the time we ordered until we got our food. After we had been waiting about 30 min the waiter did apoligize for our waiter but did not even offer any complimentry bread. The food was great and the restaurant was beautiful, but the service is appaling!

Beautiful decor, great service, interesting food. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As we considered bringing back our husbands we decided this would be our special get-away-from-it-all place.
