Silk's Country Kitchen

Wow what a lousy experience. The food was terrible. I cant believe this restaurant is still open. The place was nothing more than a bar that is pretending to be a restaurant. NEVER AGAIN

We loving having breakfast here. If you make it there before 11am breakfast special is very cheap. It's a Great all day breakfast place. Service isn't the greatest but the breakfast is worth it.

Silks has been doing it right for over 15 years. A strong family history and lots of experience. Saddly recently a good old friend passed away who owned and managed the place. Not only did she know the family restaurant business better than any in the field she also mentored others who are still doing the same. Silks still charges a fair price for a meal even though sometimes being unfair to themselves. Societymakes a restaurant what it is. How do you sell prime rib every day for $15 when a customer only wants to spend 5 . That will afford you roast beef right? Amazing perogies and a nice family and one of the best breakfasts around makes Silks one of my Tops in NOTL and I don't have to sit by too many people with their nose to high in the air if you know what I mean. Keep Silks moving guys. It's not easy, I'm sure

Ah, Silks. What can I say? This is my favorite $3.00 breakfast. Service is fast on weekdays, but terribly slow on weekends because it is packed to the walls with people. Food is always good, but sometimes the portion isn't always the same.

Yes, it is a tad bit dirty inside, but they are upgrading on a consistent basis; they've recently added a bunch of widescreen LCD TV's throughout the place. Very nice.

This restaurant has gone down hill over the years. It is not being kept up inside and appears dirty. It has nice windows and is located well and has a lot of potential. The service can be quite slow and the restaurant is usually understaffed. Perhaps more training is required? The whole place needs painting and cleaning. Prices are quite reasonable.
