  • We arrived in jeans just to wine taste; we were graciously asked to stay for lunch. When we said we weren't dressed properly we were assured it was not a problem. It wasn't. We were treated well by the servers, food was excellent, and all in all we had a lovely afternoon. We dine out quite a bit, are not easily impressed so they hit the mark by us. Well done!!

  • We were greeted very pleasantly and seated where we requested, inside by the window on a hot day. Service was good. My soup of the day - watercress and fennel was very good. Both our lamb dishes had to be sent back as they were blue rare. It was quickly and properly redone to medium rare and re-plated. Agree with previous reviewer about the raspberry tart...undercooked, heavy crust, heavy filling, served refrigerator cold. Accompanied by a ridiculously small scoop of ice cream. Should be at least 50% larger. An overall pleasant lunch...but they should ask how you want your meat done if they have a propensity to serve it so rare, and attention definitely needs to be given to the pastry desserts.

  • Food looks very impressive but flavours are frankly dreadful. Seasoning is poor. The portions are tiny and combinations sound good but really don't seem to work except visually. Streak was requested as medium rare and came blue. Three tiny pieces of asparagus I had to hunt for. Risotto was cold. The pastry chef should be fired. Appalling raspberry tart - not a tart more a pie with stodgy, unappetising pastry - a decent pate sucree would be far better, glutinous raspberry filling tasted as if it came from a can. A far cry from a from what could be accomplished. A charming setting but overwhelmingly pretentious with far too much emphasis on appearance and presentation and far too little emphasis on genuinely good food.

  • Order: Prix Fixee lunch menu - I had the crispy perch, steak and raspberry tart

  • While our server was excellent and very accommodating and most attentive, the hostess who sat us was too snotty. We were made to feel that we were in her way. We arrived for lunch about 1:30 and asked to sit outside on the terrace, but it was too much trouble for her to clear away and set an empty table. The hostess made a show about having to see what was available in the main dining room even though the entire room was empty and stayed empty until we finished lunch. We were the last guests. I will not return, and I will not recommend the restaurant just because of her. The food was adequate, but hardly spectacular. The desserts were the worst part of the meal, and very overpriced for quality and creativeness. The setting is lovely, but there are far better places to eat elswhere. And as for that hostess ... I suspect that they know most of their guests are tourists and will most likely not come back. How true!

  • Excellent service and presentation. Food was fresh and delightful. Good use of natural flavors and herbs to compliment the wines.

  • Order: 3 course menu. We all had something different, veal/anise, scallops, beef filet.

  • The food was absolutley disgusting and inedible. I came with a group of 15 people through a work function. You would think that the food would be impeccable and the service even better. We had three choices of entrees and all three were awful. The service was also snotty and unattentive. Would never recommend eating here to anyone.
