  • If you are looking for a place where the food is below average, the waiter forgets what you ordered and the owner is extremely rude, then this is your place!

    Shortly:
    1. Washrooms have a distinct smell of urine and chlorine. I should have listeend to my instincts and leave after I washed my hands.
    2. I ordered a Veal parmigiano on the bun, but I asked to have the bun aside. Waiter forgot to bring the bun. and was very shocked when I asked him to bring it. He said 'You said you didn't want a bun!'
    3. My wife ordered a salad and, after that, a French onion soup. She finished the salad and kept waiting for the soup, which never came. We called the waiter again to remind him and he said 'NOW you want a soup?' We waited again but waiter was busy with another party (about 8 people at anotehr table) and he ignored us totally, even though I raised my hand a couple of times to draw his attention.
After 20 minutes I stood up and went to him, and told him to cancel that soup and give us the bill. I complained about teh service and said that it is not possible to wait 20 min. for a soup.

At that moment he became very rude, I saw him placing the order for the soup in teh computer, printed the bill, including the soup and said that I have to pay for it!
The owner showed up and called me an idiot and if I don't have time to wait, why come on vacation.
I tried to explain that we ordered the soup and waited over 20 minutes. I said that I was not going to pay for something that was not brought to me. She threatened to call to Police and I agreed. It took them another five minutes to bring the soup, which I refused.

We waited for the Police to come for another 30 minutes, but they never came. Tdhe waiter brought another bill saying that they took the soup out, and, after we paid he yelled after us 'Don't ever come back again!'

So, if you are looking for this kind of experience, feel free to visit them!

  • I started visiting Niagara-on-the-lake four years ago and stumbled across this restaurant because it was the only one opened after 9:00 pm in the off season 'March'. We hard a party of 6 people and everyone loved their food and the service was great. Every year since then I have visited and always keep going back to this restaurant for their food. My son who is 18 years old came for the first time this year and he said his Canadian Burger with the Cajun seasoned fries is the best he has tasted. I took him again yesterday and he ordered the same thing and again LOVED IT!!!! I will always visit this restaurant and no other when I go back to Niagara-On-The-Lake.

  • Order: NY Striploin with Baked Potato & Grean Beans, Calamari, Beer and Strawberry Daiquiris and Canadian Burger with Cajun Fries

  • Wow, I have never been to such a terrible place as far as service goes. I guess people think that they can treat you anyway they like when the have a full house. It is reviews like this that I hope makes them change they way they treat people. My wife and I had a long trip and just wanted to eat something quickly and get on with our drive. We were waiting for a table for 15 minutes. There was a table for 2 and one for 4 available. A group of 6 came and were seated right away. They told us they had priority because we were only a party of two even though we were waiting much longer. I mentioned that this is not the way to treat people and the lady behind the bar said. We do not need anyone telling us how to run our business. As I mentioned then and I will mention it again now..."Apparently you do need someone to tell how to treat people with respect. I will never go back and will ensure nobody I care about ever goes near the place.

  • The restaurant was located in an airconditioned basement with lots of seating. The waitress was very prompt and always nearby in case we needed her. The food and beer were excellent. The poppers were my favourite because there was an assortment of flavours. Definately would return.

  • Order: Appetizer: Poppers Me: Cheese & broccoli quiche & garden salad with Fourno's Light Boyfriend: Beer batter fish & cajun chips with Niagara's Millstone Lager

  • We were place to sit down in front of the garbage bin between next to women’s washroom.
French fries is the only thing I enjoyed, although it was frozen fries. Seafood Melt was a joke. I was totally fooled by the description of the menu, Shrimp and Crabmeat smothered with cheddar cheese. Their crabmeat is a crab flavored fish cake, I guess it called Surimi.
Gyros was OK, but nothing special.
Greek salad was swimming in dressing, and you can not taste anything but dressing .

I talked to waitress and the owner about the crabmeat being falsely labeled on the menu, and was told that I was foolish to expect real crab meat, using imitation was nomal practice. I was then dismissed.

If you are expecting a real food, this is not a place to go. There are other good restaurants in the town. The owner dose not seems to understand customer service, which I feel sorry for the waiters and waitress.

  • Order: Seafood Melt with French fries and Gyros with Greek Salada

  • Although the restaurant was less than 1/3 filled, we were offered a table in the very back between the men's room and a staircase. It was also the only table with hard, uncomfortable wooden chairs. We asked for another table.

The lasagna tasted like packaged from a supermarket freezer section. The Greek salad was packaged salad greens with 1 and a half olives, 2 slices of onion, a sprinkling of feta cheese, and a bare drizzle of dressing added. There was an additional charge for this salad to replace the garden salad offered with the special.

The grilled pork souvlaki was tender and tasty. The rice tasted like it was prepared from a package, and the Greek salad again with packaged greens and a two olives.

    I would not go back.

  • Order: Lasagna with a Greek salad substituted for a garden salad. It was a daily special. The other person with me ordered pork souvlaki from the daily specials. It came with rice, Greek salad, and pita triangles. We each had one pint of draft beer.
