Butler's Sports Bar

Some of the tastiest wings I've eaten...can hold it's own against any wing establishment from TO. The Butler is the "local" establishment where employees from NOTL's other pubs, cast members from Shaw and a few tourists all come together to share a late night pint. The staff are friendly, even when they get slammed with the late night crowds. Bands are always great and play long into the night. A hidden gen in old Niagara.

Bit of a lie that we were here for dinner, it was a weekly ritual of showing up after Sunday night hockey with the boys, at midnight! That said, the food is very good. But do not confuse this establishment with the rest of the snobby pubs and restaurants in Old Niagara! Oh no! This is more typical of your average sports bar you'd find in any small Canadian blue collar town. It's where the employees from all the snobby pubs and restaurants gather when their own shifts are over. From almost any seat in the house, you can watch your food be prepared! (But not like at Benny Hana) There are better sports bars in the Niagara Region, but none that are geographically close to the old town of Niagara!

You're missing out on the REAL Niagara on the Lake if you skip on visiting Butlers. While the service isn't always consistent; it's generally better than worse and the pub grub is the best and cheapest that you'll find in town.
