Wimpy's Diner

Probably the best diner i have ever visited, service was great and food was amazing. I read the other comments on this board and these people obviously dont know what they are talking about, this location was very clean very organised, the food was very tasty and fresh, and the visit was very pleasant. Defiantly going again would recommend to everyone.

After a year of convincing my GF convinced me to go to Wimpy's Diner. We both ordered the wimpy's 'giant' burger.

I was expecting a homemade patty, huge and delicious.

I got one of those frozen patty grilled, and then slapped onto a bun with you average pickles, kind of ripe tomatoes, mustard and relish, with onions. IT WAS SO GREASY, My plate had grease drippings all over it, and it tasted like any other precooked frozen patty out there. Definitely nothing special.

The service was nice the waitress treated you like home, but unfortunately the food was lackluster, mind you the onion rigs were good, but if you mess those up, then you might as well close down the restaurant anyways.

EXCELLENT all around. Went back after being unsure about whether or not wanted to. Waitress, Celine, was impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed my Shishkebob. FIrst time I ordered it at Wimpys. Daughter enjoyed her hamburger and hubby and friend enjoyed their dinner too.

Everything was fine until I read the comment below. Now I am concerned. Maybe should have checked here first BEFORE we went.

Never, ever will I be returning to this Wimpy's location and I will make it my personal mission to warn others against this blatant health violation of a restaurant. After discovering a deep-fried maggot nestled amongst my homefries, the waitress proclaimed "I hate when this happens"...!!!!!! The manager did not even have the courtesy to come over and appologize, instead I was OFFERED my meal for free.... worst restaurant EVER!!!!

I'm impressed. I was greated at the door by a waitress with a huge smile. The coffee was brought right away. HOT and it was great tasting coffee. Our food was wonderful. The potatoes were real potatoes not deep fried hash browns and my breakfast was only 3.99.
Top rate service, quality and the staff was wonderful. Our coffee's were never empty and we were treated great. Can't wait to go back.

Great experience, loved the food, loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was so funny. After being at the hospital down the street, we needed to laugh. She made it just that much better.

Wimpy's needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. Booths are filthy, pictures as well as kick knacks are collecting dust. Old food lying in the corners. It was obvious that the dining area needs a lot of tlc. The food was okay but I couldn't finish it because of the state of the dining area. I will never return and can not wait for Wimpys to be closed by the health department.

Great Food, Great Service, huge portions but not a huge price. Lots of fun.
Can't wait to go again
