Cora's Breakfast & Lunch

Very rude manager. I don't understand why the service in Ottawa is so poor. Anybody know where to get good service in the city?? If so let me know I would really like to have a pleasant evening

Went in with my girlfriend on a Sunday, the place was busy and noticeably very hot and humid inside. Not sure if their air conditioner was broken or not but it was rather uncomfortable. I ordered a smoothie which was good and a Fruit Crepe. I asked for no pineapples because of allergies and the waiter gave me a bit of a hard time almost like he didn't believe me. My girlfriend ordered the crepeomelette with spinach cheese which she enjoyed. Overall I enjoy the Cora's franchise but next time I might head over to the one off bank street.

The service was just wrong.I'm surprice they are still open.Our food was cold aweful place to have eaten there

Owner was ignorant and rude. Totally unprofessional and if I am able to shut him down I'll be there.

Great place to eat - if you can first get in, then actually get the attention of the wait staff, and if you have a great deal of patience. The food is pretty good - although they poach eggs in a strong vinegar solution that overpowers the rest of the meal - and when you ask to have it poached in plain water, you're told "no, "Cora" won't let us change anything." Too bad that Cora apparently doesn't care about a customer's preferences. Yet, judging from the lineups out the door, enough people put up with it, so the restaurant will likely stay in business.

The food here is excellent - a variety of traditional AND unique breakfast choices! The restaurant is a little noisy so it is difficult to have conversation across a table. Service is friendly, but not too fast. But if you want an excellent breakfast, check Cora's out. My new favourite breakfast place!
