  • Just got home with my food, never thought to check it as I,ve been there before.Got my regular gyros with fries.but they had no fries ? so I got the roasted potatoes that taste like curry the skin was black and hard. The gyros had small fatty pieces of pork.not the long slices of lamb that they did serve.no idea how they cooked it so fast, pork 2 mins?waste of 11 something, and I did not get my pop either?
left an email question for them about my dinner and it has been 16 days and got no response from them.

  • Order: dinner combo

  • We bought the voucher from Dealfind ($25 for $50 at this place) and we still paid too much. When we arrived around 8pm it was practically empty (only 2 tables with 2 people at them) but that didn't stop the 1 waitress from disappearing for large chunks of time! It was like pulling teeth to get her attention or to get us anything, including our food that sat out open getting cold in the kitchen forever after being ready. Had to ask a few times just to get bread! We both got different souvlaki dinners, she mixed up the side dishes & we had to do an awkward shuffle of our potatoes. Didn't really matter since both potato dishes were awful, as well as the rice pilaf. The pork souvlaki was okay, the combo (beef, chicken, lamb) was pretty nasty. The beef was tough and the lamb was stringy, full of fat and gross. The only good thing was the Saganaki (cheese they light on fire) but other than that the food was bad & service was worse. That meal would have cost us $60 without the voucher, which is ridiculous! We will NOT be returning & suggest others don't bother!

  • On a cold winter evening we drove through icy road conditions for a birthday dinner.

The restaurant looked very nice from the outside and it was very warm and cozy in the inside.

    Excellent menu with excellent prices!

Summary: the service was excellent and fast, and the food was very tasty and authentic! We spoke to one of the owners when she came by to see if everything was alright, and found out this nice older greek couple had just taken ownership of the restaurant recently. So disregard any reviews for this place that is older than 2009, as the older comments are not currently applicable!

  • Order: pork souvlaki with lemon potatoes, lamb chops with rice and greek salads, red potatoes, and lemon egg soup

  • My mother and I happened to drop in to eat a late lunch here two days ago and we were both pleasantly surprised. It's an unassuming little restaurant located on a street corner, at the corner of a small strip mall. We went there because I told my mother that Greeks generally tend to serve nice fresh food and use real spices instead of MSG.

Once inside, we noticed the ambiance was really quite nice with shady nooks and sunny window seats available to accommodate all tastes. There are several TVs overhead, one above the bar and another near our table. Possibly more. Those were the ones I noticed. This gives the place a bit of a sports bar feel. I'm not into the TVs myself, but others seemed more appreciative, including my mother.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I couldn't find our waitress to add to our already placed order, another one passing by took the information back to her and, since the addition was an appetizer, it arrived in less than two minutes.

The food was very nice and fresh and tasty, as expected. It was also truly plentiful. There was enough piled on each of our plates to comfortably feed a family of 3. The specials prices were more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food they serve. We were in a bit of a hurry, so I did not get a chance to browse the rest of the menu too much otherwise.

The Greek salads were very fresh with no brown tipped lettuce or soggy tomatoes. Greek salad actually shouldn't have lettuce, but most Canadians/Americans prefer to see the lettuce in there. My mother had a chicken souvlaki and I had a beef one. Both were on special. We had a side order of hummus, a la carte. The rice was well cooked, the potatoes were delicious and the meat was so tender I hardly had to chew it. Yet, none of it seemed to have any MSG in it, because if it had had, I would have known it. I would have reacted.

The hummus was a little chunkier than I am used to, but that was not a bad thing. It just had a bit more texture than usual, but it tasted great. The bread basket had nice little pita wedges, little multigrain loaf pieces and also little white bread loaf pieces. It all looked home made, and it was all warm and fresh and tasty.

We had lots of leftovers, which they packed for us in clean, separate containers and put them all in a plastic bag for easy transportation.

When we were done, the bill came quickly and was processed quickly too. The staff was exemplary throughout.

My mother enjoyed the food and the experience so much that she went back with some friends today for lunch. I plan to return there too when I'm in the area again.

  • Order: Hummus w. pita/bread basket, Chicken Souvlaki, Beef Souvlaki. Lemonade, Bottled water.

  • The pork meat in my pita was impossible to chew. I ended up paying $6:27 for wet Pita and some onions with a small piece of tomato and tzatziki.
I will never go back there again.

I have a lot of trouble believing that the service was bad at this restaurant. To me, the opposite stood out the most:: the service was great! The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, and absent otherwise. Also,I see you did this review...
