This place has a certain "European cafe" charm to it. It's located in a pretty cutesy plaza, and the decor inside is charming and whimsical.
My friend and I went there for dessert just as the dinner hour was winding down. The crepes we ordered were great and the presentation was creative. Our server was friendly and gave us as much time as we needed to make our order and eat. We even hung around for a while after our coffee without anyone trying to rush us out.
- Order: Crepe Tropicana, Apricot Crepe, coffee

My friends recommended this place to us, so I had higher expectations when I walked in. The service wasn't great, we waited 10 minutes for the menu, and another 10 minutes to order. The restaurant is an open kitchen, so the air quality was bad, they should work on the ventilations, so the whole place doesn't smell, we smelled like fried chicken when we left the place. The food was ok, good presentation, and fair priced. The best part was the desert, we liked their desert, it was good. I would only go back for their desert, and that's it.

I had a lunch and a dinner at Apricot Tree for several times, and I had very good experience each time. It has very friendly staff, and the food is very fresh.
I especially like the deserts. They are really great, and there is always large selection of very fresh cakes and pies.

I've been here on various occasions, mainly for lunch. So I decided to write a review since I hadn't yet.
One thing that I have to say about this place is that it is consistent. Consistently good. There aren't 'off days'. I've always enjoyed my visits.
The prices are very reasonable. There are different specials all the time for lunch/dinner. And 1 advantage that The Apricot Tree has is that you know FOR SURE that the desserts are made on-site. Same goes for the food.
I just hate the feeling of going to restaurants, but knowing that some things are defrosted and stuck in a microwave, i.e. most lasagnas in Italian restaurants. OR the desserts are shipped from some chain bakery and God only knows when they were made!
Because of these reasons, this restaurant will always be a staple for me!

I walked in with great expectation. The seasame pan seared talapia was not bad, but it was kind of plain, and the dessert was okay, the mousse texture was rough and the taste was so-so. I would probably try again and provide an update later.
- Order: pan seared talapia, exotic mousse cake, apricot salad

I've come to Apricot Tree many times for their desserts and teas mainly, and my overall impression is that it is a great hideaway place with good food, normal prices and a good environment.
Atmosphere: the interior is very quaint and cute as it has an open kitchen, cobbled floors and patio style decor. There is also an outdoor patio!
Food: the desserts are normal to above average. Their range of teas are fantastic for the type of restaurant it is. If you're a tea drinker, I'd recommend the Exotic Mango black tea.
Price: Normal; a tea would be around $3, a dessert would be around $8-$10.
Overall: I'd recommend coming here if you wanted a nice date spot or a small-party gathering. It's a small restaurant with a quiet ambiance, and your gathering should reflect such!
- Order: Varied desserts and their teas

Sorry Guys
I am going to know this down a couple of pegs. I agree, the service was outstanding, great staff HOWEVER...the food was not. The French onion soup and chicken were bland.
On another occasion, I purchased the white chocolate moose cake for my wife's birthday which was outstanding!!! I would visit there again for the desserts and not the entrees. - Order: French Onion Soup, Chicken Tarragon Noodles, White Chocolate Moose Cake

The food was excellent but if this story doesn't sell this place little else will.
My wife received her Crepe but she discovered that she was not a fan of Saffron (having never tried it before). It was an excellent sauce but just not her taste. The server saw her asked how it was. Learning that she didn't like it, even though it was excellent for what it was, the owner replaced the meal with the pasta without additional charge.
That type of kindness is hard to find but at this restaurant it exists. Go and enjoy their fine food & service. - Order: French Onion Soup, Beef Crepe with Saffron Sauce, Strip Steak with Black peper and mushroom sauce, Smoked Sausage & Sundried Tomato Pasta, European Cookies

Awesome service, accomodated special request, delicious, will come again. Washroom could be a little better, it wasn't dirty, just needs touching up.

An amazing value. Pleasant cafe decor, good service, very European dishes on the menu. Accommodating to special requests. All of our food was very tasty; the crepes were particularly good. You should not only save room for dessert, you should consider going mainly for dessert sometime; they have a 6 course dessert tasting menu available, and do all their own baking. The night we were there they had four types of strudel and a number of different cakes, as well as cookies available to take home. Highly recommended. Wish we lived in the area so we could become regulars. http://www.apricottreecafe.com
