Sushi One

My boyfriend and I have been going to Sushi One on a regular basis ever since it first opened. They are definitely my favourite sushi restaurant ever! You must try the special rolls: spicy tuna roll, spanish roll, boston roll, chicago roll, etc. They are around 10 dollars, but they are good portions and they are made beautifully! I used to love the Green Dragon Roll as well, but I don't recommend it anymore because they cut back on the amount of eel that they put inside and it's not as flavourful anymore. And the oyster tempura appetizer is wonderful as well. This place is a MUST TRY!

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was a bit skeptical about the service. However, I was in the mood to try a new sushi place - without paying too much.

The service wasn't terrible, just a tad slow, & not super-duper friendly, but it was fine. After receiving the complimentary side dishes (5) + miso soups, it did take a while for the main dish to come. However, the server did apologise. Tea was refilled regularly which is a good sign!

I would have to say that the quality & price of Sushi One sets it apart from other Korean-run Japanese/Korean restaurants. The value is very good!

For example, I ordered an x-small sushi combo which is 40 pieces of good variety of sushi for $29. This was more than enough for 2 people. At other places, you'd be paying closer to $40 - sometimes even without side dishes or miso soup. Complimentary green tea ice cream (2) was also included.

It's a fairly small restaurant though - maybe about 15 tables in total, about 5 of them were 6-seaters. Take out seemed to be a very popular option here!

I would definitely visit again because the value is difficult to beat!

I've been there very many times and the service never gets any better but I continue to go because the food is good and the value is great. The staff is not friendly at all and that really ruins the entire experience. Also, the last time I went there my boyfriend found a HAIR in his udon soup!! The staff was not apologetic but did take it off of the bill (obviously). After that experience along with the rude staff, I will never step foot in there again!

the value is really good. however their fish seems WAY too watery; this could be because they do not completely soask off the water as the fish defrosts. ive eaten sushi since i was really young, so i think Sushi One is an excellent place but its just those little things that need changes.

The Red Dragon roll was absolutely delicious and the Spicy Beef Soup was the best I've tried yet. The chef said it's a Korean specialty. It was nice and spicy, but not too spicy. There were a lot of greens in there, I'm not sure what they all were, but they definitely worked well together.
The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

Comes with Salad and Soup. The Kobi Beef were cut and was delicious! Usually, Kobi Beef as an appetizer is given as strips of meat; whereas, I liked it better in the bento box since it is easier to eat. The Kobi beef was cooked perfectly each time. The sashmi were good quality and fresh. In the end, icecream was given for free. I would recommend this place for it's great price and quality.

I have been going here for about 2 years now and absolutly love this place the food is great service is great icecream at the end is good, I have tried almsot everything there and have a frequent buyer card there.
Best sushi in Mississauga.

Good food... If you don't mind paying $1.00 per sushi.
