Ristorante La Scala Fine Italian Cuisine

I have to give 3/5 for food because my chicken marsala was disappointing.. I've tasted better at family restaurants.. I can even make it better at home. I tasted the seafood penne and chicken penne with rose sauce, liked them both better than what I got but still not worth 15$ and 25$ apiece. The wine selection is limited .. if you want a glass of wine, you only have 3-4 options (2-3 red, 1 white); the Chilean Merlot wasn't great, and a bottle is $50-170. Dessert (Tortufo + coffee) was good.

For this price, you can do much better in Toronto. The place is out in the middle of an industrial park, -- not exactly exciting scenery for a Saturday night supper. The place, including the restaurant, was deserted. It's clean but the decor felt a bit dated. Mixed with poor location I give 3/5 for atmosphere.

Service was excellent.

The bottom line: this place is just too expensive and badly placed. We might be inclined to go back if their prices were cut in half.

Service was great. The server was extremely attentive, continually filling our water glasses, quick to clear the plates and inquire as to whether we needed anything else etc...

The starter salad was good, but my main dish was just mediocre, and while the restaurant was clean and well-kept, it was somewhat lacking in ambiance.

Overall dining experience fell flat and would not return to this restaurant.

The food was excellent, and we all had a great time. Everyone enjoyed the food and the friendly ambiance. The place was very busy with people from all over. I am definitely coming back!

This is an interesting place, mostly because it tries so hard to overcome it's location and decor. I have no doubt they care about their food and service but it all falls a little flat in the end. Is the food good, yes. Is it great? No. The service is good but the place is completely devoid a fine dining ambiance.

We celebrated a special family occasion as a private party. The food was superb and was happily made to suit our needs as some of us were also fasting. The presentation was appealing and the ambiance excellent. I would definiltey be visting this restaurant again weather it is for lunch or dinner with coworkers and friends or as another private party. We also emjoyed the warm service and hospitality.

Christmas Dinner, for Admin department menu was mixed selection and everyone was very pleased with their choose. From Drinks to Desert the experience was good, we had guest from our Chicago office and they thought we were very lucky to have a restaurant that would give the service and the atmosphere of being at a friends home. Always, good food and service when eating at La scala's.

Great place to dine and have a great time I'll recomended to anyone.

They had a Band playing, it was very nice and relaxing.I'm definitly coming back.

The Restaurant is located in a prime office space, hiden like a tressure.The ambiance is very classy place. Relaxing setting. The service is very professional and frendly.The best part ,the food. You can stop enjoing bite after bite.I love to bring friends over and over, they all love the place like me.
