I am a big fan of shrimp tempura and have tried it in many many different restaurants. I have to say that the tempura was made to perfection. It was fluffy and crispy and the batter was very light and delicate. The grilled salom is so fresh that it literally melts in your mouth. Out of all the things that we tried, my husband enjoyed the kal bi (grilled short ribs). The meat was so tender and marinated throughout. It was definitely money well spent!!
- Order: shrimp tempura, salmon teriyaki, kal bi

The sushi was tasty, but it was nothing special. The menu had little variety, and nothing creative, but then again, this is not a true Japanese restaurant (Korean/Japanese). I might have gone back again, but it is not good value at all. $60 food only for 2 people and we were still hungry. That would be ok at Hashimoto, but this is hardly fine dining. I can get less than $25 of super fresh sushi at Sushi on Bloor for 2 people and both be completely stuffed. My quest for good sushi in Mississauga, other than Hashimoto (because I can't afford to eat there more than twice a year) continues.
- Order: Small sushi boat, Hamachi maki, agedashi tofu, suimono soup

One of those "best kept secrets". We love that it is a family owned business where you are made to feel at home. The food is incredible with choices whether you prefer basic terriyaki dishes or the best sushi you've ever tasted. It's always a sure thing for our family. We always go with a healthy appetite because the portions never disappoint.
- Order: Sushi Salmon Terriyaki
