East Side Mario's

I hadn`t been to an East Side Mario`s for a very long time. I had remembered the food as being pretty good, but this time it was lousy. The pasta sauce was kind of crusty instead of creamy (as it should have been) and the salad seemed like it was weeks old and pulled out of the freezer.

I have a friend who calls their food italian dog food, and I probably agree with him now.

The doorguys were a little sloppy. They looked amazed that we express preferences about where to sit (because we had a small kid with us). A slight feeling of not being much welcome there. Otherwise, above average service, server was very kind and smiling. A bit of a holdup with the desserts, as apparently more than one server was appointed in our area and there was some lack of co-ordination. Food was good. I found some of the portions a bit small in size. Exceptionally good Panna Cotta dessert - light vanilla cream topped with chocolate and raspberry sauce.
Overall, a positive experience!

Seating took longer than anticipated. Server was polite and friendly. She forgot the appetizer and served the main entree. We recieved our drinks and dessert for free because of it. She offerred, we did'nt ask for it. Good customer service, despite service that is sometimes a little slow. Will re-visit due to food / experience.

hells kitchen chickens had to much pepper, my mom choked. aside from that it was a good experience and the staff was great.

I came in the take out area, there was no service for 20 minutes the chef kept calling for someone to take my order but no one came until 20 minutes. Once I ordered the person left without ever coming back with my order, again I had to wait another 30 mintues to get my food. If I didn't ask the chef to ask one of the people to check my status i would have probably ended up waiting even longer. Once I got the order the chocolate cake was all crushed and my funnel cake was absolutely STALE, i was expecting something fresh since i waited for so long but it was the exact opposite. I do not recommend going to this store as it has by far has the worst service EVER. I've eaten in places in toronto that give great service and great quality of food, this store gives neither. Stay away from this store, it is a complete waste of your money.

Fun time, relaxing atmosphere, good food

Good food and average service. The only complaint we had was the number of children allowed to run free in the restaurant. Very distracting and annoying.

Excellent Food and staff ... bartenders exceptionally friendly!!! Would suggest no changes!!!
