Chi's Congee & Noodle House

This is a restaurant that will always be considered if we wanted to eat close-by. It was a few months ago that I initially went and found that their sweet & sour pork was absolutely lovely (although I am chinese, shamefully I love sweet & sour pork...which is more north americanized).

The eggplant with minced pork is also a popular choice that is always tried out...in many restaurants. On some days...this dish is well made and others, well lets say it seemed like they forgot the salt.

The chinese broccoli with beef is fair and the fried fish with corn had bones (we hate bones) but was acceptable!

Overall, this restaurant does decently and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to try chinese food or is looking for a decent chinese restaurant in Mississauga. Although there is nothing special about it....I have found that its popularity has been increasing lately and has made it more difficult to get a table quickly because its such a tiny restaurant! Sometimes it is worth the wait....*but not too long* ;)

I don't know what to say about this place. It's not amazing, but also not bad. The only word I can think of is average. Cheap, satisfying, and growing ever popular by the UTM crowd. I hope this little restaurant can stay forever!

Food:
Not bad. The fried noodle stuff (especially the black bean rice noodles (hor-fun) leaves something to be desired. At least their flagship product is good. I frequently order the minced beef congee and I am never disappointed. I especially love their daikon cakes as a side dish.

Service:
Nothing wrong here. greeting, servicing, mannerisms are all decent. I have never had a bad experience even when it was packed.

I'd consider going more often if their noodles get better.

Congee portion was large for $8.95, and enough for 3 guys, the pork rib and veggie are typical Chinese dishes, average quality and taste. Service was quick, our food was served < 5 minutes after order, wow

Had some leftover to take home as well, $30 for 4 1-person meal is very good value

I have been here a few times. There's plenty of parking. I love the congee, it tastes great. I didn't quite like how the crab was..a bit to spicy. The pricing for dinner to fill the 5 of us was relatively inexpensive. We have a lot left overs with just a few dishes. One day when we don't feel like cooking, we would be sure to visit here again.

Very friendly staff. We go time and time again to pick up lunch for the group at work.

I've been going to Chi's Congee and Noodle House for a few years now and the food is really good. On Mondays to Thursdays, they have the Spicy Tiger Shrimp for $5 and this is one of the best dishes they have there. We order it even when it isn't on special.

Of course, Congee is good also.

This is a Chinese Restaurant. The Congee is very taste and the price is not expensive but good food.
