  • Being new in town, we started going here because it was close. Turns out, every time we go elsewhere, we wish we had gone to Canyon Creek. I love the atmosphere, the food, and we always have good service. More than once we've seen the manager on the floor working and it's clear there is attention to detail that I appreciate as a customer. We go a few times a month.

  • This was our first time here celebrating an anniversary. We will NEVER ever go back to this restaurant again. I am pregnant and specifically asked for a well done steak with no pink at all. Half way through the steak, I saw pink. The waitor claimed it was a "lighting issue" but could also "see where I was coming from." The manager offered a mini kids steak which would take 5 minutes. I appreciated it, and said make sure it was well done.

Well, 15 min later, it came back. The first bite was cooked, the rest was completely raw. They had no excuses after that.

The manager came out again, was making excuses saying how the kitchen staff knows how to cook steaks. etc etc. Everything was a lighting issue or a miscommunication. This was SO DISSAPOINTING. The staff couldnt even cook a tiny very think piece of steak. NEVER AGAIN.

  • my dad's 51st bday dinner. my dad, brother, myself & the boyfriend. we were put into a both and a little on the crowded side since all 3 guys wanted to spread out a bit.

appetizers we got garlic brushetta bread and stuffed mushrooms. not impressed. the brushetta bread was so hard and we had to cut the loaf ourselves. every time someone tried to cut it the toppings (ie: tomatoes) fell off, it was really oily, barely no cheese. the stuffed mushrooms probably cost me $10.00 and they were crappy. no filling. all it was melted cheese with tiny pieces of wilted spinach on 5 mushroom caps. waste of money and had no taste.

entrees: my dad got the double boned pork chops with garden salad and baked potato. garden salad hardly any blue cheese dressing & he only ate half of it. his dinner the pork chop looked big, thick and juicy so he was happy about that. the baked potato was enormous and no complaints.

my brother order the prime rib and said it tasted pretty good and finished his plate. he also had the baked potato and Caesar salad

my boyfriend ordered the chicken chop and the rice pilaf with veggies. he loved it and i had a bite and it did taste quite delicious

i order the top sirlion with veggie & rice pilaf. the rice was good...can't mess that up, the veggies were a disappointment- 6 baby carrots, 3 little mushrooms and 1 piece of broccoli. the steak was cooked to perfection- rare! and it was good.

the dessert menu was weak. my dad order a monte cristo and enjoyed it.

i come here because my dad enjoys the pork chop here, but anything else was no different than going to the keg which i prefer. the price was very decent for the 4 of us, but i rather eat at earl's or the keg

  • Not as good, modern and classy as a Moxie's or Earls. I would rather visit one of those in the area. The decoration is not up to those restaurants standards and the prices are the same. They are more geared towards kids and families here which is annoying and noisy. Definitely would not order drinks here.

  • Out of our way to be a return visitor - otherwise we'd return. Just under 30 people at four tables. Servers were prompt, kept the bills straight and meals were served amongst our table to table visits which I'm sure created some confusion for the servers. Our noise wasn't too bad but apologies to nearby patrons is likely warranted. - thanks for putting up with us. Didn't notice 'service fee' added for a crowd - would have liked to be told.

  • To this lady who posted earlier, who the hell goes to a fine dine steakhouse for coffee??? Are you kidding me? What kind of reaction would you expect from the waitress? Sure she's gonna be pissed off because how the hell can she make money (tips) on two cups of coffee??? Use your F****n brains! You want coffee? Go to Tim Hortons or Starbucks and leave the fine dining to real people who want to experience agreat steakhouse.

  • Since I started a new job I have been frequenting this and several others restaurants in the vicinity during lunch especially on Fridays sometimes on other days. Yeasr ago Canyon Creek was a good place but I see they are falling behind. The two better options in the area are Earl's and Moxie. Earl's has prettier girls and it really helps, so does Moxies. Moxie has modern decor and the pretty waitresses. Very confident of their bodies. Also, there are some cool appetizers at Moxies. Canyon Creek comes third among these choices but at least better than the food court, so the option is there.
