Brar's Sweets

This is the first buffet I've ever been to where i can feast on whatever my heart desires. Most dishes are vegan, and all are vegetarian. The food tastes great. I'm sure the service could be improved for some, though I go to restaurants to eat, so as long as i get my drinks and the dirty plates are removed, I am pretty much satisfied. Good atmosphere, and the chefs are happy to answer any questions one may have.

The buffet has a lot of variety and every dish tastes like it is supposed to. I've never not had fresh tasting food served to me. The curry dishes are rich in taste, however I would like it if everything cooked a bit spicier.

Some of the staff are apathetic and not to eager to serve but I guess you get what you pay for. The price you pay for the food makes for great value.

The food and service is very good - not spicy and has a good variety. We do not even miss having any meat dishes as there seems to be enough to eat. The front entrance and general cleanliness could be greatly improved. The service is always prompt and pleasant.
All together, good experiences each time we visit.

I think this is the only restaurant in North America ,which as so much variety at a good price. You get alot of options but my only complain is, sometimes specially if you go on weedays ,some food tate like prepered hours before or may be stale.

we were recommended by a dear friend of ours so we planned our weekend dinner and we enjoyed every moment spent there and would love to go again and again. Food quality is very fresh and quantity is appropriate, moreover its not overpriced an less oily. Service not so friendly. we had tried many indian restaurants and we were not satisfied but never got a chance to visit this place. Now we found the right place and we need to satisfy our burning desire to enjoy the indian cuisine...hats offf!! Cheers

They do nice aloo Kulcha try one. They have nice girls work there but they speak very little english. They need more people who can serve English customers. I know language but my husband English so English people be ware.

The food here is good when compared to the other restaurants in Toronto. Being a vegetarian, I am able to eat any food I want in the buffet .They can reduce the amount of soda they add to the rice here which makes you feel full the whole day, in case you have a good lunch there.

But I have to say, the service sucks. If you are doing a take out, they don't bother to attend to your order. Or never even apologize in case they have a mistake or a delay.

I think they should improve on that after all being popular just for food doesn't matter right?

I have seen, Komalas vegetarian restaurant and the A-1 sweets in Scarborough which are also good in food and their service makes you want to go to them often.

Thank God I am in Toronto, and don't have to depend on Brar for vegetarian meals all the time.

I went with my friends best buffet all vegetarian. Just sad to see no meat dishes!!!!! sorry this restaurant only for veggies but great food.
