Bombay Bhel (Hurontario)

I was so excited to try this restaurant after all the great things i had heard about it but i was extremely disappointed in the food. The bhatura (fried bread) was undercooked - you could taste the dough. The channa was bland with no taste. The Naan was half burnt and half doughy and cold. The butter chicken tasted like it was from the day before and reheated - the sauce tasted and smelt burnt and the chicken was overcooked. It was the worst butter chicken i have ever tasted. The appetizer we had was not prepared properly at all. I'm not sure if it was just this location or a bad day but i will never go back to this place. If you are looking for good indian food i suggest you go somewhere else where taste is a higher priority. Check out Kwality at Torbram and Steeles ... much much better and a little cheaper.

The food here was good but could have been cooked a bit spicier (although I could have asked for that). The service was good. I expected a delay in being served because it was quite busy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is nice. Overall it was a good experience but I don't know if anything stood out enough to warrant repeat visits.

Pricy. four items on the buffet. Stale meat served and poor service. Rude Waiter. What else can I say? Go there and experience the horrible food.

Bland cuisine with average service. Nothing to write home about.

I'm not sure if the chef has changed, but I was disappointed

A horrible dining experience. Bombay bhel serves nothing but over spiced, under cooked fast food. There are plenty of better Indian restaurants to choose from in Mississauga

the butter chicken was smelling weird and my nan was wet all over. My friend had chicken tikka with garlic nan and the tikka was very overdone so was very dry. But the garlic nan was exceptionall good so that was all we both ate. Never visit again.

My love for Indian food started with take-out from this restaurant. After sampling the food at a friend's a group of us went to dinner at the Hurontario location. The food and service is fantastic. Note the food may be a little to spicy for children, but the restraunt is willing to make accommodations.

I've been to Bombay Bhel plenty of times, and usually I order the Chicken Tikka; which I always find fresh/delicious. But the last time I ordered it, it looked like it was seeping with oil, and the taste wasn't the same. I'll probably go back, but I won't be eating the Chicken Tikka.

First time visit but not the last, excellent food and friendly attentive staff. Both of my daughters enjoyed the Butter Chicken and I must admit it was the best Iv'e ever had, my wife enjoyed her Lamb vindaloo and it was spicey without being overpowering. the naan bread was very fresh and complemented the meal perfectly, we will be back.

I'm Pakistani but I LOVE eating at Bombay Bhel [esp at Hurontario]. Their tandoori chicken beats lahore tikka house anyday!
