  • I added this restaurant months ago, but I didn't know that it was approved 'til now. I just visited tonight, so I thought that I'd share my fresh insights!

There wasn't anyone there when I arrived on a Sunday evening. However, the restaurant did smell as though there was some cooking underway, so I wasn't that hesitant in staying.

My mom wanted the chicken biryani and I asked the waiter to suggest something else. He choose Chicken Boti which is pieces of chicken breast, marinated in yogurt, spices, and bbq'd on a skewer.

(I wished that he had suggested something that wasn't chicken since I already had it in my biryani. ALSO, I thought it out 'cause after everything arrived, I realised that I wasn't gonna have any sauce for my naans! I like to have saucy dishes to accompany the bread.)

The biryani was good, very fresh tasting. Also a fair portion for $7.99. The boti dish was alright, a bit sour probably due to the yogurt marinate, $9.99. However, it was freshly grilled too, so I can't really complain.

The naan was really yummy, non-greasy. 1 is fair enough size for 2 people to split at $1.25 each, it's also a bargain!

What stood out from other Indian (Pakistani) restaurants is that the servers were really proper. They were dressed in white dress shirts + black slacks. They were also well-mannered, offering us some complimentary vegetable fritters + dates. (To celebrate Ramadan?) One waiter even explained that the fast was breaking.

Attention was also paid to the decor and cleanliness which is rare in these establishments, but much appreciated!

I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are feeling like grilled meats as that seems like their specialty!
