If you like real pizza, you’ll love AmorePizza. Excellent thin crust with lots of toppings to choose from. I tried most of them so far (on different occasions, obviously :), and they are all good. Plenty of choices, from vegetarian to meat lovers, all fresh and tasty. The place itself is not the most comfortable, but you’ll have plenty of stuff to look at on the walls and the ceiling! Besides, I only go there for the pizza, so I don’t care much about everything else. Last time I had pizza this good was when I was downtown. Anyway, this is what real pizza tastes like. Give it a try, you might like it too!

After hearing that this place was packed on the weekends, I decided to give it a try! Located on a sketchy corner, I was extremely surprised to hear this.
Like the location, the strip plaza was rather sketchy as well. However, the inside of the restaurant surprised me a lot! Decor was definitely in stark contrast of the location.
Although pleasant, the server didn't seem enthusiastic about the restaurant's food. His response was, "I never eat at the restaurants that I've worked in" when I asked him for his recommendations. That really threw me!
Before our dinner came, we got a bread basket (homemade) with 2 dips (marinara, baba ghanoush). Baba tasted like an ashtray. I later asked the waiter if that's how it's supposed to taste and he said that the eggplant has to be roasted, so that's why it tasted that way.
The server did say that the restaurant is known more for their kabobs, but we decided to order a salad/pizza instead.
The salad was alright. Nothing spectacular. While the pizza sorta mimicked the taste of the bread/dips that proceeded our meal!
The bread tastes like the crust of the pizza. It's probably made out of the same dough.
So I wish that I would've tried the kabobs instead. However, I didn't know that we'd get the bread!
I was looking forward to ordering dessert, but after I asked the server if they were prepared on the premises, he hung his head in disappointment. Like with dinner, he didn't really offer any suggestions.
It seemed as though he was sad. He wasn't rude, but just apathetic, and not promoting anything on the menu.
We left without dessert 'cause I had lost my appetite.
- Order: goat cheese salad, vegetarian pizza with eggplant
