My friend can't take spice, so the waiter suggested that she order a chicken dish that wasn't on the menu. We took his suggestion and were presented with pieces of chicken in a gravy sauce.
Friend commented that it smelt similar to MSG-packet that comes with instant noodle and I agreed. Although I told her that I certainly hope that it was made with actual spices - as opposed to fake flavouring. The dish was very rich, flavourful, although I found it to be a bit greasy.
We also ordered parotta - which apparently is the same thing as naan, according to the waiter. I thought it was flakier and cooked in a different way than naan. The parotta was delicious as well, but it was also greasy.
Lastly, I ordered a paper dosa which was HUGE! I can't explain the size of this thing. It came with 3 sauces, 1 of them a chutney, 1 - lentil soup?, & the last one was white in colour. Didn't like that one as much as the others.
This was my first dosa and I think it was deep friend 'cause it also left an oily film on my hands. It was delicious though! Wish I had known about the size.
Eating all this new food for the first time, I felt like dessert, so I asked the waiter what was offered. He said 2 things, in another language, and I realised that he couldn't really speak English that well. No harm though.
He said that he would "show" me, so I thought he was going to bring me a picture of the desserts. Little did I know, he presents me 2 cups: 1 kesari (a yellow coloured, grainy, thick pudding with raisins that tasted like custard) + 1 payasam (condensed milk, sugar, w/ vermicelli noodles/tapioca).
I chose the kesari while my friend went for the payasam and let me tell you, the serving size is like a full rice bowl! The desserts were yummy, but very rich, sweet, & the size deceiving.
Perhaps I should have ordered a veggie dish, but overall, although delish, the food was greasy. Probably made with ghee. I may try again, but be more careful of what I order next!
- Order: a non-spice chicken dish (not on menu) - ~$9, paper dosa (HUGE) - $8.50, parotta - $1.99, & desserts - $3.99/each

I gave this restaurant a rave review and it didn't show up. I'm trying again.
In short, my wife and I were driving around and we stumbled upon this place.
The food is truly exceptional and took suggestions from the waiter. The only bad thing is that it's too far away from home!
- Order: I honestly can't remember!
