88 Vietnamese Restaurant

I had the pad thai with seafood and curry, as well as the scallops wrapped in bacon. The food was excellent. The service was not so excellent. It was rather slow, and the entree was long finished before they brought out my appetizer.

The dining room is clean and nicely designed. The washrooms were absolutely disgusting. It isn't enough to decorate them. They clearly don't clean them.

Overall, a pretty good place, but they really need to clean up the washrooms.

Usually, I go to pho for a quick fix - not the atmosphere, but 88 is different. Nice, clean, modern decor with very reasonable prices.

My order has always arrived quickly with slightly more attention paid to the presentation, i.e. pork chops come on skewers as opposed to a slab of meat with the vermicelli/rice dishes.

As with most pho places, prices are very reasonable. This also contradicts the decor.

My only complaint is that the unisex washrooms should be maintained more on a regular basis. Usually, the sinks are wet all over with paper towels strewn about.

Aside from this, I'd definitely visit again!

Some of the best pho in the GTA, beating out a few $12 per plate places in downtown Toronto. The portions are large, and they do not skimp on toppings either. In general very filling and satisfying.

Unfortunately, the service does leave a bit to be desired. The waiters are not very attentive, and I have found myself waiting quite a few times. That said they are quite fast and generally polite.

I've been going here for a few years, and the impression has been sufficiently favorable. Good enough that I will drive 20 minutes to get there.

The pho was garbage.. I will stick to thai food.. ps the spring rolls were too oily

Great service, beautiful restaurant and the food is wonderfully presented and decorated. We've been going here for years and recommending the place to all our friends. The prices are very reasonable and the servers are very friendly. Not to mention the most important feature: the food! It's fantastic.

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is always great, the service is very fast, and the prices are really reasonable. The two of us can have a meal for just over $20. It's very simple but is still my favourite.
