  • I had made a reservation for my mothers birthday and requested that they bring a specific piece of cake at the end of our meal to surprise my mother. I arrived first and confirmed that they had my request for the selected piece of cake for my mom, which she confirmed she did and not too worry. We were eventually seated. Waited forever for our food. The server had a personality of a corpse. At the end of the evening the server then brought over the bill, but no cake. I quietly stood up and went over discreetly to the server and asked her where the cake was? I left and returned to my seat. She brought out the wrong cake. I was speechless and disappointed I said nothing. We left shortly after. I would never return. The service was unacceptable.

  • I am not one to write a review, but the service was so appalling at Osso Bucco, that it would be a crime for me not to warn people and spread the word....
I have to be honest, the food was actually good. But the service will ruin your night.
Our entree's took a very long time. And in this time, our server was no where to be found. So we spoke to the manager (and I use the term "manager" loosely), to complain. We were being polite but firm. Instead of apologizing, she argued with us! Stating we exaggerated the time the food took by 10 mins.... are you joking??!!! It was evident that this so called manager had no people skills or customer service skills what so ever. She was legitimately angry, that we were upset by the service.
I have never been to a restaurant in my life, where I got into an argument with any of the staff at a restaurant, let alone the manager. It's very sad, when a farm animal would have better people skills than the manager (Tammy) at Osso Bucco....
If you are looking for a good argument, please ask for Tammy... she won't disappoint... she's beyond unprofessional.
I can't help but think if our skin colour was lighter, if the experience would have been different.... probably. Thanks for a great night Osso Bucco!

  • Terrible service, ignorant manager!

Received bread, minus balsamic vinegar and an empty container of parmesan cheese.

Waitress was never around to check on us. Decided to phone the establishment while seated to speak to the manager on duty because our waitress was no where to be found. She came out 10 mins after speaking to her, I guess to mentally prepare for the discussion we were going to have with her. She came out defensive and pissed. I'm assuiming becauset we called and didn't get out of our seats to search for her or our waitress.

We explained how bad the service was and that we waited 1 hr before our entrees showed up. She corrected me and said "no it was actually 45 mins". She was not apologetic and very rude. Explained to us the food is cooked after appetizers are sent out and that was why we were waiting so long. Fair, but to wait that long? At least follow up on us, let us know. All we were looking for was acknowledgement. She even took the time to roll her eyes at us when we were explaining our situation. This was the 4th time we visited this place, and never waited this long. Ordered the lamb previously, and waited max, 30 mins. Completely disgusted by the service. This manager Tammy should not be dealing with Customers. She should be collecting garbage at the side of the highway where she cannot engage in conversations with human lifeforms.

Will ensure all my friends and family in town never go back here!

  • I cannot say enough about Tammy and her team at Osso Bucco Milton. We had our daughter's baby shower there on sat and we were BLOWN AWAY by the SERVICE, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, SERVERS, AND THE FOOD...the portions were generous, served hot and prompt and for 46 people that's hard to achieve. They were very accommodating to some special dietary orders as well. We will MOST DEFININETLY HAVE MANY MORE celebrations at Osso Bucco!!!!! Take my HONEST word for it...YOU WILLNOT BE DISAPPOINTED, to dine there, or have any celebration there too. THANK YOU AGAIN TAMMY AND ALL YOUR TEAM FOR MAKING OUR DAUGHTER'S BABY SHOWER A VERY SPECIAL DAY SHE, AND ALL THE GUESTS WILL REMEMBER!!!! Everyone LOVED IT. It's nice to know that there is still a restaurant out there that REALLY DOES CARE ABOUT GREAT SERVICE!!

  • Order: we had choice of salads, two kinds of pasta, and chicken, salmon, mixed grilled veggies, and potatoes.

  • I am an old and favourite customer of Osso Bucco Brampton. Once upon a time when Vito was still alive and owned the family business on Nelson St. A small cozy spot, food was excellent and Vito was still running the show taking pictures of all customers and displaying them on the restaurant walls; you felt like part of the family. When they decided to move the restaurant to Bovaird in the industrial part of town it wasn't that big a deal, they operated on word of mouth and accumulated loyal returning customers. It was always busy and it was still excellent. The Osso Bucco and Tiramisu were amazing. Osso Bucco now opens in Milton -as I live here now -and was excited but apprehensive because when a restaurant expands -generally speaking-it does lose its touch in quality. Sadly, I visited Osso Bucco over the 2012 holidays and my fear was 100% right. I ordered old favourites and wasn't impressed, it changed, in portion size and quality. I saw my friends pasta dishes and they looked dry, all of them. They were not impressed. and a few complained their dishes were too salty. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is great, not the same as Brampton but a great venu. So it's a shame that the food is NOT up to par. I am Italian so I rarely go out for it but once in a while it's nice and I really loved some of the menu items that I feel have gone to the gutter. The Spicy scallops and roasted garlic app. are/were two of my fav.s. IF you're the owner reading this please be in touch with me, I'd love to share my pros and cons to help improve? I want to love you again! Thx :( Michelle

  • My boyfriend and I LOVE Osso Bucco Milton location. We always order two entrees to share - Penne Primavera is always our go-to choice! The serving sizes are HUGE - we can split the penne primavera and still have leftovers. The fresh bread is just a bonus!

Our last visits were highly disappointing. Wait staff were unattentive and didn't seem to want to be there. On a beautiful day, we were unable to sit on the patio because the Young (ditzy) Blonde server (the only one working) said they're "expecting rain" .. Excuse me? It was gorgeous out! But we dined inside anyways because we know how amazing the food is. Two other groups of people came in while we were there and asked to sit on the patio - she gave them the same speech and they ended up leaving to dine elsewhere. What a shame - and bad impression she left on the restaurant. Her service was no better, standing around lazily while we waited to make our order, and not being attentive to our needs (more water, take-out containers, the check).
Our last visit consisted of poor service again - this time it was an older male server. He took forever to tend to our table with every aspect of our experience - drinks, orders, food, and cheque. He did not come by to see that our meal was satisfactory, nor did he provide us with parmesan cheese with our pasta dish. Waiting for the check was another time-consuming task.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant! But if you see a skinny blonde server or older male when you walk in - turn the other way and try back another day!

  • I have no complaints about this place at all other than that it's in a sort of crappy location and thus was a tad hard to find. Could have used some effort towards getting your attention from the road that it's on.

My meal was the 2nd best pasta dish I've ever had. It was so good that I ate the alfredo sauce on its own a couple of times as if it was an order of soup.

I noticed some reviewers had problems with the service but I didn't have any issues with it at all.

It was 100% booked up on the Saturday evening that we were there. This hindered the attempt getting to the bathroom as there is not much space left over once the place is full. Speaking of the bathroom, I, very oddly I admit, took a video of the water faucet in the mens washroom. It was unlike any faucet I had ever seen and I didn't know how to describe it to the friends I was with. I swear, I don't videotape stuff in bathrooms on a regular basis.

  • Had heard mixed reviews and decided to try it out for ourselves, really shouldn't have bothered...the place was not too busy and yet it took forever to see our server and then we waited for our food and the chef should try a little salt....and try to serve the food HOT or at least warm...it was neither..

  • Decide to go for dinner last minute with a friend. i did not make reservations, so waiting for a table or having to be delayed would be expected. Nope, even though they were busy, we still got seated right away.

    thats the only good part...

menu was nice and atmosphere was great. asked the waitress if they are always this busy, she said that it was not as busy as it usually is....
soooo why is my food cold! after waiting 45 minutes, the food was cold, and there was no salt. okay, ill let ya slide on the salt. but cold? my friends food was piping hot, mine(ossco bucco) was tough after 5 min.
if that was a slow night, then what happens when ur busy? if i had made a reservation, i would not have been so forgiving!
p.s. kudos to the waitress for avoiding us the whole dinner service

  • We recently went to osso bucco for a special event and had a fabulous time! The food was tasty and prepared quickly considering we were a large group. There was so much food and each course was better than the last! Our waitress was very friendly, professional and handled our group with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again for sure. We will make sure to call for a booking because the place was packed even on a wednesday night! I highly recommend this restaurant.
