The Arch Steak House & Tavern

This restaurant advertises a "family restaurant" when it really isn't. Our toddler was told she was not allowed to play with the sugar packages and the waitress took them away from her. How much really does sugar cost??? If that is what is going to keep a child happy, then let them play with them. We purposely went at an early time (4:45pm) as not to disrupt others and we felt as though we were rushed. Barely sitting and we were asked what we wanted to eat. We ended up leaving and not even eating, we felt extremely uncomfortable even though we were one of three tables in the place.
Do not bring your children...they are not welcome!!

Excellent food and a great atmosphere. Fantastic flavors. A most enjoyable evening overall and the chef even prepares meals for those who have food allergies/sensitivities.

high end prices with fast food taste. No flavour or garlic in the cesar salad. seafood consisted of 1/2 crab leg (overcooked) 2 scallops, and 2 shrimp. Must admit steak was good. sides where way overcooked rice and frozen vegs. sauces where served in plastic cups with lids on. Way off for price we paid!

Very popular in Midland, you need to make a reservation on weekends and don't even try to get take out on Friday and Saturday night. Limited menu, we like the Souvalki. Ordered shrimp one time and it was not very good.

Kinda' just what you would expect...nothing inspiring going on here...Steak was good, but the menu is pretty much old school. Another boring steakhouse, keep moving, sigh...

We used to go to the arch 2-3 times a year.
The adults in our family without kids to enjoy an evening away.
We don't go as often because we found the menu limited and frankly alittle boring.
The food is always wonderful and service great.
May try again to see if anything has changed.

We visited this restaurant Summer of 2007. Decor was a little drab & old fashioned & not much room to park, but service was impeccable & food was lovely!
We also liked how when the salad came you didn't have to choose just one dressing, as they brought a carousel to the table that had a few of them on it.
Filo wrapped cheesecake drizzled in honey was to die for!!!
I mentioned in passing conversation to the server that it was our wedding anniversary & after dinner she got all the servers together & they congratulated us which was a nice touch!

One of my family's favourite resturaunts! I live in the States now, but have still eaten a marvelous dinner there on visits.

We went to celebrate our friends birthday that her children had arranged. Everyone enjoyed there meal...not a wrong word..delightful..all the steaks cooked to everyones choices, veg beautiful..service fantastic..fun was had by all. It was a wonderful night..thank you. we are planning to recommend people to go there.. i came home and told my son what a lovely place, he must take his girlfriend. I had the special for the evening...well worth the money

We have been going to the arch resturant for years. I love it so much. They are a family resturant with all the personal touches. The arch is a warm, friendly, kind, cozy atmosphere with candle light on your table very romantic. I recomand this resturant to any one. Fantastic food, makes you want more!!! mouth watering.
