Our party met here before a meeting. There was 8 of us, and we made reservations a week in advance.
I liked the layout of the place. It is dim and quiet as well. I like that everything is wooden and clean. Very old fashioned steak house feel to it.
We got out table and the server came to our table right away. Drinks came quickly afterwards. We ordered the food, and waited.......and waited........and waited. More drinks came but still no food. After about 50 minutes, we informed the server that we had a meeting to attend, and that we'd appreciate if they could hurry the food along a bit. After about 10 more minutes, the food came, but we were pretty much getting ready to leave. We all had to shove the food in our face, while tying to pay the bill at the same time. It seemed that they were understaffed, especially for our table. The server was friendly and helpful, but when the food takes an hour, that adds a bad feel to the overall service.
Food was pretty standard. My burger was average, as was my ceasar salad. Nothing to complain about, just not much worth noting.
Given that I have so many options when I dine out, I'd hardly consider this place again if I was the one planning where to go.

very sad to see how this -once great -place have deteriorated. The service was horrible, and although the food was decent, I found a long hair INSIDE my baked potato, when we called the manager to complain about this disgusting incident, she actually fought with us and was the most rude person ever, she eventually offered to take the dish off the bill but we refused, as it's not the money we are concerned about, plus I don't want anything to do with them or to see them ever again. sounds from the reviews that the management has changed, which would make sense, since the service used to be fabulous, our friends also noted that the service was very bad. If this is the manager, I can understand how the waiters behave !!

Both the prime rib and the filet mignon were excellent. They were perfectly cooked. The prime rib was juicy and succulent and the filet, ordered medium, was moist, thick, not bloody but nicely pink. Delicious. You can order your potato cooked in one of three ways, we ordered ours in the 3 cheese stuffed variety, not healthy but for an all out treat it was great!

I will just say that Timber's is an excellent restaurant, and to anyone reading this reviews I would be very leary of the negative ones. There is a substantial amount of misrepresentation regarding pricing located in the reviews below. I have consistently been to this restaurant at least 3 times a year for the last 5 years it has become a favourite for our family for birthdays and holidays and not one time have we had a negative experience. I think that is a fantastic ratio for a place that is so consistently busy. If you looking for a classy, reputable place to dine, I would highly recommend Timbers for their service, food, and overall atmosphere. It IS a classy higher-end restaurant, therefore they will not rush you through your meal. As I mentioned previously after reading some of the reviews I would have to say that some of the reviewers may have a personal issue with the restaurant, however I suppose our opinions are not always ruled by ethics! Definitely try the restaurant for yourself! Bon appetit!

We had an incredible experience at Timbers Chop House. They are a busy place and it can sometimes take awhile to get a booth or a specific table, but it is always worth the wait. I have trouble with reviews from people who seem to walk into a full service restaurant wanting their food served in 5 minutes, but if you are like us and want to relax, enjoy some good wine, good food and good company than this is your place.

Visited for buffet breakfast after a friends Wedding. The food itself wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The issue is the service in that it was non-existent. The restaurant was mostly empty and we wondered around trying to find a waitress to order two glasses or orange juice. After waiting it never arrived. We asked a second waitress and finally a manager and still, after waiting, it never arrived. Deciding there were better things to do with our time we decided to check out to the tune of $25 for two plates of bacon and eggs... no orange juice.

The food was decent; however, our server was not very attentive and desperately needed to iron, clean, and properly tuck in her shirt (terrible appearance, which affected our mood). She spent most of her time chatting amongst other servers who were also not being very attentive to their customers (as the couple siting next to us also made comment about). The management seemed very disorganized and no one in my party could clearly decipher who in fact was in charge. I understand there is new management but in my opinion they are doing a terrible job and allowing a gem to fall to dust - perhaps they should reconsider their management choices better. I nor anyone from my party will return and I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

My companion and I had a amazing meal at a fabulous restaurant. Our meal was better than what we've heard from others who state they didn't enjoy their meals. The steak was cooked to perfection the way we ordered it and tender enought that you can actually chew it. Everyone knows that when new managment takes over there is always adjustments and changes that need to be made for imporvements...and this takes time, dedication and hard work. The meal we had and the service that we were given it shows how hard this new manager is working and the dedication given to this restaurant to ensure their customers are given the best dinning experience that they deserve. Bravo to the new managment!
I highly recommend Timbers Chop House restaurant to everyone who enjoys great food, a great dinning environment with friends and loved ones, and award worthy service. - Order: Ceasar Salad, New York Steak dinner

People can say what they want about new management, It takes time to teach a huge team new tricks. You can definetly see how much the owners care about what is served to their customers compared to the past management in 2007.....Our newest experience...beyond impressive. the presentation added to our experience of a perfect nite out. The timing of our appetizers to our dinner to our desert to cappuccinos and sweet dessert ...OOOHLALA!! perfect. We had enough time to talk and make a little more room for the next course. The prime rib, my husband chose rare, myself medium, both grilled to perfection. The new Yorkers, our friends ordered medium and medium well with sides of mushrooms, wow what flavor in the mushrooms. The quantities are more then enough, the vegetables slightly crisp just the way we like it everything served hot, the complimentary bread melted the butter on our plates. We will go again and again and again. Much improved.
