East Side Mario's (Dundas)

I had a very similar experience with this ESM location, as minnie. My girl friends and I were out for one of our friends birthday, and our waitor was also sarcastic and unprofessional. and if i remember correctly his name was kevin as well. Although I didnt have a problem with flies, i did have a problem with his service. He screwed up our orders, he never came around and asked us how things were going or about refills, and on top of that he screwed up our bills literally 5 times, which therefore took him an 1hr to get them right. His stupidity amazed me, and when we did not leave him a very nice tip, he also ran outside into the parking lot to scream one last sarcastic remark " Thanks Ladies!" I think this is extremely unprofessional and I will never go back to this location again. Clearly this particular waitor needs some help with anger management and CUSTOMER SERVICE!

i've been to east sides before and had much better experiences that at this location...couldn't even eat my meal due to having to constantly swat at flies...an no i wansn't on the patio....manager was great about it but waiter (kevin)was sarcastic at every turn ....including chasing us down in the parking lot for one last sarcastic yell to us to "have a good night ladies" when we didn't leave a tip.....i don't tip for poor service ....especially when i pay for a meal i can eat because of the flies!...east sides should really rethink this waiter for sure!!! not sure i will bother going back....think my money is spent better elsewhere!

Whenever I go out, I come here. If I'm with others, I do my best to get them to agree to come here. The food always excels, (the garlic shrimp being the best appetizer I've ever eaten anywhere) the atmosphere is calm, the music is neither loud nor too soft, and the people are always happy to serve. And the homeloaf is just to die for! Best restaurant, bar none!!!

I really like East Side Marios. The menu has interesting & affordable choices. I have always found the service at this particular restaurant to be cheerful and although it is always crowded, we have never had to wait to long for our meals. Good food, good service, good prices...what more could you ask for.

The food here is usually very good, I've had one dish that I didn't like but I think it was more of a bad choice on my part. But I love the chicken parmasean my favourite dish. The only problem is that this place is always packed no matter what time of the day so the staff are overworked, we sat there for like 10 minutes after we were done our meals waiting for the check!

I was surprised to find out they no longer off Kung Pao Chicken...was the ONLY reason I went there....why remove a hot item like that???? Was really disappointed.

My wife and son and I eat at this restaurant at least once a month. We enjoy the All-You-Care-To-Eat salad and steaming hot bread.
The pasta dishes are excellent. Well presented, hot and fresh.
We have also had steak and burgers and they were also excellent.
We have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous.
This is one of our "favorites".

Food is not as good here as the other ESM's in London. I find the dishes at this location more oily than elsewhere. The server don't seem as friendly either. I think this location needs a new manager!

Very good food.

I took my mother and father out for dinner, and out food was taking an awful long time. I started to look around, and I saw some people who got in after us, with their food already. At first, I let it slide, until about an hour without any food. I asked my waitress. She appologised, they had lost my order. They gave us free shrimp

Maybe it was just the day we were visiting, but the food tasted really salty and was served to us cold. We'll have to try this place again and see if they improved.
