Dinner Liberty

This new place is a very good place to check out.
I live on Wharncliffe and Commissioner's, so an 8 minute walk from my place to get a tasty and healthy dinner is a great opportunity. I think they open at 11:30, so you can get a fresh lunch for about $7.00, same goes for dinner as well. Or you can purchase frozen stuff for another time. But the quality is the same in the frozen meals. And the quality is good. I have always been greeted by the same smiling and helpful staff member, who I suspect is the owner. Which is good. I expect this or I go elsewhere. But I don't need to.

I like to walk, but there is parking around back for those who choose to drive.

Prices are fair, often on par with what you'd pay at a burger joint, but here you have a changing daily menu and quality stuff like meatloaf, chicken korma, lamb....so why would you go elsewhere? Well, if you try here once, then you won't want to.

I've had the meatloaf which was well proportioned and tasty as all get out. Also, the chicken korma is as good as I've had anywhere else.

Overall a great place to stop for a healthy meal that is served in a timely manner. Go Dinner Liberty!

Have been to the restaurant twice now. Once we dined in and the second time we had takeout.

The restaurant is really set up more for takeout and we felt the first time that we were imposing on the staff to eat our meal at one of the two tables provided.

Had a problem with the debit/ visa machine on our second visit and there was a considerable delay in finishing the transaction. Several customers came in after and all had to wait because of the problem.

There wasn't much in terms of advertising for this restaurant and it was only be chance we came across it. I think some coupons or advertising could really help this place.

The first time we visited, my husband, son and I, thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The second time; however, my husband didn't enjoy his. The meat was not as fresh and tasted like it had been around for awhile. (although the second time was takeout - we only live 3 mins down the road)

All in all, it is an okay place and prices are good for "fast food"
