This place has recently closed. I don't know why it lasted as long as it did. The buffet items were lukewarm and stale, and the service was terrible. It was not a good experience.

There were 4 of us dining at this restaurant and we all went for the buffet. We all really enjoyed it and found many favourite dishes that will have all of us coming back in the future.
Price can't be beat for the value we received....adults only $11 and kids half price!
I would recommend giving it a try - good food and service for your dollar! - Order: We all had the buffet with coffee, and pop

We called about buffet and when it started for supper. Asked if fresh food was put out for each meal buffet.( We were told yes) We arrived just as they were about to finish setting up for supper buffet. Started with soup and it was ok, then started into rest of the items. It was terrible, one or two items may have been fresh for supper, but everything else was dried out and might have been fresh from lunch or before? We tried to pick through anything that looked fit to eat. Found very little, paid bill and left.
We would never return or let anyone else, without fair warning. This place should not be in business. - Order: Supper buffet.

Having enjoyed this place for it's buffet, I figured I'd try some of their Dim Sum with my extended family, whom come in from Toronto. They all loved it and even said that it was better then the places they've been in T.O. I have to agree, the food was hot and fresh. The dining area looks very beautiful!
I'll definetly be back next weekend for some more Dim Sum Delights

I'm new to kitchener and a friend of mine suggested me and my family go to this place for a pretty good buffet dinner.
He was right, the food was hot, tasty, and plentiful, the dining room big and spacious (heard from the owner that they do banquets too, and I can believe it), and the service was kind and curtious. Though the washrooms aren't as impressive as the rest of the washroom, they are clean and easily accessable. And for a price of just $11, that's really cheap!
Overall the experience was superb. Don't know which place some of the other reviews went to, cause this buffet is a keeper in my books.

Being new to the area and looking for a good chinese buffet but were extremely disappointed. I could barely stomach half of what was on my plate and left the rest there, too bad the waitress was really nice.

This has been so far the worst chinese restaurant I have ever been to in my life. I was in the area, and decided to go in for lunch. I felt kinda awkward to start off with coz we were the only 2 people in the restaurant for the entire time. All the fried food was soaked in oil to the extent that whenever I took a bite, oil would drip out. It just made me feel nauseaus. All the food seemed stale, including the sweets. There were times where I wasnt sure if what I was eating was what it seemed to be. The whole experience put a look of disguist on my face for atleast a whole hour which I couldnt rid myself of. The only good thing I can say is that the lady serviing us was friendly, however that does not compensate for the hunger killing trauma I suffered.

I would give these guys a zero out of 10 but this site is too courteous and merciful. Lets see.. I went to Yeun woo for a buffet. They charged me for the music.. on top of that i think they had music tax. Yeun woo had the smallest variety of food ever. Noo i didnt see pizza rolls. I must say the restaraunt was beautifully decorated. ITS A RESTARAUNT NOT A MUSEUM!.. i came for the food.. i saw the food.. i left the food.. 90% of a dish was OIL!.. the other 10 % consisted of music, and some other crap. please accept this review, its only to warn people. My boyfriend got nausea attacks because of the food. Please spread the word, we all need to be warned. Stay away from the misfortunes of the stale fortune cookie.
Sincerely,

The Yuen Woo was a GREAT experience for my friend and I. At first I was skeptical of the restaurant, having read about it on this very website, but I was in the area so I decided I'd go and make up my own mind. And with that, I was beyond impressed. The service inside was perfect. We were seated within 60 seconds on walking in, and the hostess was incredibly friendly. The restaurant had only opened for dinner five minutes before I entered, but still the buffet was full and the food was great.
And the variety! Not only do they serve supreme Chinese dishes, the Yuen Woo is like a culture clash of delicious! I mean really, a Pizza Roll? That's pretty awesome.
The atmosphere left little to be desired. It was friendly and personal, but still retained it's class.
Overall, the Yuen Woo is just an all around great experience for anyone who enjoys a good Chinese Buffet :)

The buffet line was small. The food was stale. Everything was below par except for one gem in the back of the restaurant...cough...chinese spaghetti...cough. Our group called it "a diamond in the rough"
