Taco Bite

We have been looking for a mexican restuarant in Kitchener and have finally found one. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We have eaten at several mexican restaurants which are quite a bit more expensive. I am not sure why some comments state that it is pricey. The atmosphere was simple but clean. The waitress did forget an item we ordered but brought it out fairly quickly. These things happen.

We will definetly be going back!

I have now given this place two chances. The first time we ordered the special of the day (Quesadillas), and this time we ordered from the menu.
The food is fine, and authentically Mexican-from which region I'm not sure.
I just don't feel like the value is there. When you are in Mexico you get fresh rice and beans with every meal, not here. The servings are small for the price.
There is a fantastic authentic Mexican in Streetsville that we will go to when we need our real Mexican fix.

Well, it is about time we got a decent Mexican restaurant in Kitchener. I have been here twice now. The food is pretty good, but the place is a bit of a dump, and the service was kind of slow. I had the enchiladas. They were good, though not especially cheap.

Another reviewer referred to this place as a "work in progress." The very same words came to my mind as I ate there. I will try the place again one day, but I am in no hurry.

I’ve gotten take out from this place twice. The food is solid - definitely authentic and reasonably portioned. This ain’t no Taco Bell. The restaurant itself could use some work - it looks run down and frankly if you walk in and you aren’t a Mexican yourself you might feel a little intimidated by the people sitting around (I assume they are friends or family, not diners) who all stop talking and stare at you.

That said, it sounds like this place is a work in progress and the staff were friendly and eager. I’m still not at the stage where I’d want to dine in here, but for take out, it’s a sure bet.

Finally! A tasty sit down Mexican restaurant in Kitchener. We went here as thre result of walking by it a couple of days prior.

This cozy upstairs restaurant serves both take-out and sit-down restaurant serves tasty Mexican food with specialties from the state of Veracruz. Portions were adequate, but not enormous. As with most restaurants in Canada, the spice level was far from burninating, but pleasant for the palate.

The included bowl of chips came on a very adorable plate whose shape resembled a sombrero. Included with the chips were bean dip, a slightly creamy spicy salsa, and a slightly salty salsa.

The Enchiladas came with plenty of sauce, a healthy amount of meat, and quality tortillas. They were also topped with lettuce, tomato, marble cheese.

The Flautas were fresh and delightfully crunchy. The meat was cooked to the point of tenderness and the flautas were topped with lettuce, tomato, and marble cheese.

Service was fast, efficient, and personable. The staff were clearly interested in making sure that the customers were satisfied.

Would definitely go there again and am telling all my friends to do the same.

Right across from CIBC on Downtown core, Kitchener. A family owned mexican restaurant (so they said).

The food is real with the right portion serving (for a man) and the service is decent, friendly and quick.

The atmosphere can be improved but knowing that the family just moved to Canada from their country, I take it as a work in progress.

What I ordered was nachos and enchiladas, both very satisfying, tasty meal.

I strongly recommend the restaurant for whom searching for real mexican food. If you need some romantic atmosphere, I would wait until the weather warms up. They said they will open their patio.

Just for the heads-up, they do not serve alcohol yet, they said the license will be given to them in a few weeks.

This Mexican Restaurant is a great addition to downtown Kitchener-with a taste of Mexico. Only been open one week.
The food is great! If you are looking for a meal that is cheap and cheerful you will love Taco Bite! We came in hungry and walked out FULL!
We stumbled across this place accidentally and have been back twice already....and we will be back!
