Swiss Chalet

Definitely not a dine-in area. The area is cramped and the service is horrible. I prefer the take-out.

The caesar salad we had was nearl $5 when it wasn't even the size of my fist. There was maybe two bites in it at most. The chicken was good, but the fries were disgusting and soggy. Every time I get a roll I always have to ask for a new one or take it home to re-heat as it's stiff as a rock.

I don't mind it so much for take-out but sometimes I think they can do better. I'm not a fan of soggy french fries.

We like getting take out at this one because the dining area sucks at this location - I much prefer the waterloo restaurant on weber and uni.
Food is fine. What bothers me is how dirty the cooking area looks from where to order your takeout. There was obvious grease on the floor from seeping through from underneath the ovens and not too far away from that there was a worker spraying a giant pot with a waterhose, could they not do that farther away from the food prep? It's good to see how/where your food is made, but I don't know whether I really want to at this place.

Predictable quality from Swiss Chalet. Half chicken definitely was comprised of two separate birds, as the leg portion was a bit over done and the breast portion was cooked perfectly. I think there's a new kid chopping up the chickens, as I had a few bone splinters, which is very unusual for Swiss Chalet. Fries were fine. Roll was a little tough. All of it was plenty hot and took only a few minutes to order and pick up.

I love Swiss Chalet. I'd still recommend it as a place to go, but i don't recommend the meal my boyfriend and I ordered. We had a waitress who clearly was new, overall she did a decent job, but i had to ask 2 times for a new drink. The fries were severely over spiced, (the waitress even pointed it out). Problem was i needed a drink in order to eat the spicy fries. On top of all that we got white meat which we didn't ask for and was charged for it! Sorry but i didn't tip the waitress i hope she understands why!!

Great and reliable place for the past 7 years!! Although the chicken seems quite small- this is not the individual locations fault at all. The food is always cooked well!

What can I say about the quality of food at this 'restaurant'. My wife and I got a take out from Swiss Chalet. We didn't expect a gourmet experience and we didn't get one.
Service was okay, nice polite young lady but the food was probably the worst take away we've ever had in our lives. I wouldn't feed this to my cat.
The chicken soup tasted of chicken fat, the chicken sandwich was drier than Oscar Wilde and the gravy tasted like an experiment.
My wifes wrap wasn't any better with some sort of 'sauce' that tasted like medicine. Seriously.
In hindsight I would have rather eaten my own shoes.

I like getting the take out here, it is pretty good food and cheap. $24 to feed family of 4 is good for me..

Never Go back to that hole

what more can u say but great!

mumbling sleep deprived teenager on the window sent me off with no utensils, condiments or napkins...very very aggravating, I wont be back...
