Quaint atmosphere. Great schnitzel. First time eating here and it was very good food. Thought we would try since it was Oktoberfest and we were quite happy. My wife loved the red cabbage. Old school type restaurant.

They truly have the BEST EVER schnitzel and the meals and portions are great. The only problem that I have with the place is that it is dirty and the wait staff have little knowledge about infection control. Maybe the owners will read this and CLEAN the joint up and train their staff. I would suggest taking lots of hand sanitizer and keep wiping between looking at the menus and leaving.
- Order: schnitzel of course

The food was very good and big portions!
But the server was rude and mean, one of the ladies had allergies to wheat and wanted ribs instead, she was told they were out of ribs, my brother ordered a drink no olives for it, we ordered water with lime no limes, my kids didn't get there drinks had to go look for the server every time we needed something, my youngest need a booster seat we had to walk through the rest. to find one. Over all it wasn't the best service and would never go back ! - Order: 3 kids meals, & me the veinna meal.

The food was very good, you can tell it's a tried and true recipe. Of course, they are known for their schnitzel.
However - the restaurant itself was very old and tiny! It was very cramped and everything in it was dingy and dark.
The service was great and the waiter made sure to check up on us a few times :) - Order: Caesar salads, schnitzel, sodas

Food was okay, schnitzel better than average, but not as good as the Concordia Club. I was there in January and we had to keep our winter coats on. Food is better than the below average decor.

We were a group of six and were advised to go to the Metro by one of our coworkers who said that this was the best place for schnitzel. It was fantastic. The schnitzel was light and crispy. the decor is very cute and homey and the service was really fast and friendly considering it was so busy the night we were in. The waitress did a good job in recommending the platters for our table and we also had pints of Pilsner which she told us was a beer from her country and the owners who we were told were from the Czech.Rep. Overall it was a great time and we will be back to try more of the delicious schnitxel

When I'm not up to making my own schnitzel, this is the only place that I would consider to give me a satisfying schnitzel.
Their Caesar Salad is also very delicious, but sometimes they can put too much dressing on it.
Everything is made from scratch and you can really taste it. I have a nut allergy and because the food is made from scratch, this is one of the few restaurants that I can eat dessert at.
If you are going to just order the Vienna schnitzel, I suggest to save your money and just order the small. One time a friend ordered the large while I ordered the small; my piece was bigger and I paid less!
Regardless of what you order, the portion sizes are HUGE and you will usually have to take some home.
Most of the time I have had good service, but there have been a few occasions where the waitress seemed to have been annoyed or looked down at me and my party. I'm not sure if it is because we are younger than their normal patrons (we're university students), but the food is enough to keep me coming back.
For choice of potatoes, you definitely need to try the home fries.
- Order: Small vienna schnitzel, caesar salad, home fries, garlic bread, apple sauce, apple strudel, chocolate milk

We heard about this restaurant from our friends who said the food was great and we are always looking to try new food so we went on a Tues afternoon. We we seated by a great looking blond waitress and we knew right away we made the right choice. We are three big guys and big eaters she told us to order two of the platters for two and we also ordered three pints of Pilsner Urquell which was awsome beer!!! The food was fantastic and our waitress was witty and fun. It's a cozy place and we will be back soon!!!!
- Order: Two platters of schnitzel one also had cabbage rolls, perogies, tons of potaoes and vegtables, caeser salad and beer
