The lineup for this place is HUGE. If you don't have to wait outside, you are considered lucky. They have many different flavours that seem a bit odd, but quite tasty. I wasn't sure what I wanted so the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, it is true that the ice cream melts faster than the Arctic so get it in a cup!
Very fresh, very expensive, very good.
Will be back.

The wait was a little long as there were so many people lined up to get ice cream and it was a little pricey.. but the ice cream was worth it. They advertise that it's the 'freshest ice cream on Earth' and I believe it. The server told me that everything was made in-store, from the ice cream, cakes, cones, brownies and even the whipped topping they use. It is by far the best ice cream I have ever had- creamy and dense. They even have many unique flavours like 'Birthday cake' which tastes EXACTLY like birthday cake. I was so amazed and impressed by this shop- I've never seen anything like it. After choosing your ice cream, they actually put it on a marble slab and mix in anything you'd like from their selection of mixins. I was with my Grandpa and he especially liked how they had old time treats like an Ice Cream Soda- which I honestly did not know what it was until he got one. I think everyone should visit this ice cream shop at least once. I will definitely be returning many times.

It wasn't a particularly hot day, but the ice cream I ordered melted incredibly quickly, making it hard to eat. I think the freezer wasn't working sufficiently well. Also, one person in our party had a cone with a hole in the bottom. Not unexpected for hand made cones, but if you don't happen to notice in time, then you'll have drips of chocolate all over the front of your shirt.

The Marble Slab Creamery has a unique twist on the old favourite of ice cream, but I really like the old style ice cream shops, where they served up as much ice cream as they could on a regular cone, without having to weigh it before serving to a customer. This place was pretty pricey too - about six bucks for a cone.
