Casey's Grillhouse

We decided to go here for my birthday lunch, since they offer a free entree (up to $14.99) for the birthday person. The "guest" has to spend $14.99 or more on his/her entree, and two beverages must also be purchased.

The foood was quite good, and the waitress checked on us periodically to make sure we were enjoying our meal and had no further requirements. Everything was brought out in a timely fashion. I was just disappointed that even with the birthday freebie, it was still quite expensive, and there was no complimentary birthday dessert.

When we got there, we were told that there was a wait of 5 to 10 minutes for a table. We waited 25. The service was very friendly but also quite inattentive. I was missing a fork when we got to the table and asked for one but never got it (luckily I didn't need it). The wait for the food was OK but the waiter wasn't around much after that. Empty dishes sat on our table for 15 minutes. Food-wise, though, the taste was good. My wife said the fajitas were the best she's had in a long time. My chicken pad thai was good, although the slivered carrots could have been shorter.

I just want to say that everyone needs to try the roasted red pepper and tomato soup. I absolutely love it and get it every time I go. Casey's is one of my favourite restaurants because it's consistant every time. Food is really, really good - for a family bistro.bar-type restaurant. Try the soup!!

The decor left much to be desired, unless Coca-Cola memorabilia is your thing. Not recommended for any date, however fun for a group of 4 or more. The steak was perfectly cooked, and while the atmosphere left a bad taste in the mouth the food left a pleasanter memory overall. I would highly recommend the Spinach Dip- definately the best you will ever have.

I like this Casey's best of all because the decor is unlike any other Casey's that I have been to. Most are a bit country looking, light wood furniture, this one is dark.

The food this time around sucked. I wouldnt order the buffalo chicken strip sandwich again because it was literally a chicken wing in bread, and the fries that came alongside were dry and barely warm. However, I have had much better food there other times so I rated it ok. Service was alright. When it's not too busy, they seat people in the bar and I find the waiters there don't come around too often and you are left waiting while they chat with their fellow waiter/waitresses.

Veggie burgers are tasty but the service is terrible!

We stopped by late in the afternoon, and the restaurant was nearly empty. I think there were a couple customers sitting at the bar, but nobody else. We waited for someone to seat us but were completely ignored by the wait staff who were hanging around by the bar chatting with the bartender. They even looked our way but still ignored us! I finally told my husband to follow me and we marched in and sat ourselves. When the waitress saw this she finally came over and gave us menus, but she offered no apology.

I might return because the food is okay, but the service needs to change. The servers are rude and inattentive. Considering how completely deserted the place was we should have been seated immediately upon entering. Instead we were ignored for about 5 minutes and then made to feel like we were the jerks because we seated ourselves.

The food and service at Casey's is consistently good, recommend it to anyone.

My surver was excelent and upbeat. going there is never a bad experence.
The food is excelent but a little pricey but overall it was a wonderful experence. i also think that happy hour is a great feature to the resturant.

To start my daughters ordered the 'potato tornado'...to DIE FOR! I ordered the asian chicken salad - excellent. My daughters are convinced that Casye's have the best chicken strips anywhere. Very enjoyable - I'll be back soon.

I've never been a fan of Casey's but this was the only restaurant that wasn't very busy, the night we were out. Casey's never dazzles, I find. I didn't finish my plate as the linguine was pretty flat tasting. On the whole, I felt like I paid too mych for too little.
