One of the best restaurants we've ever been to! When we arrived it was fairly busy so they sat us at the bar for a drink first until they could get a table for us.
The bartender was very busy at the time but he did say hi and said he would be right with us. When he finally did get to us he was very pleasant and made our drinks proptly. He introduced himself and remembered both our names through out the rest of our time there.
We originaly were going to sit at a table be he was very welcoming so decided to stay at the bar and our meal and entertainment by him was fantastic!
The food was amazing, we had a few tapas that he recommened and they were all very good as well as the wine he recommended to my wife.
We will deffinately be back for the food and service at Tango.
Thank You

OK...even though I like this bar I have some serious complaints about the jack*** bartender working behind the bar, this guy constantly made passes at my girlfriend, even though I was sitting right beside her! Kept smiling and winking, I asked for his name at the end of the night, and his name is mark. I don't think he owns the place but he sure as hell thinks he is special...
I don't think I will ever go back there because of this incident ! we even overheard his conversation with a few of the staff and all I have to say is INAPPROPRIATE! get rid of this guy if you're serious about your business tango!

I met my fiancee on a blind date at Tango. Perhaps I'm biased because of this but we think Tango is great. I've never had anything more then martinis and some sort of appetizer plate that, to be honest, I don't even remember. For drinks and atmosphere Tango is awesome.

We tried Tango for lunch today. Great selection of food...great tapas that are 40% off Sun and Mon nights from 6-9 I believe...we'll be back for that for sure! Awesome sweet potato fries. Main lunches were very good and quantity was decent. Server was nice but not that quick considering there were only a few people in there. Great funky atmosphere....we'll be back.
- Order: tapa platter (sweet potato fries, veggie spring rolls, veggie quesadillas, chicken satay $18), roated veggie panini with bean soup ($9), ham quiche with caesar salad ($9), diet pepsi
- Pleased, will try again!

We read about it on the internet and decided to try it. The tappas were a great deal on Sunday night. We especially enjoyed the mussels. The lamb was excellent but could have been warmer.
Service was good. Resturant was clean.
We will be back. - Order: Mussels, Breads & spreads, Lamb Shank, Scallops, Raspberrytini??, House wine (white), Draft (Leffe blonde?)
- Never again!!!

yep...just one salad. There were two of us but the second we got our menus, my friend announced that she'd eaten at Tango on a date recently and would just be having a drink because the food was SO bad ("geee...thanks for telling me NOW"!) O.K....it was a Weds. 5:30 p.m....think the place was packed? Yet we were seated at the back with a bird's eye view of the waitress as she scraped dirty plates into the garbage...."nice". The waitress was sweet though so that's why I gave service a 5. The food...the SAD little salad...well: just spinach...no arugula at all...came with bacon (a few hard bits from a jar that hadn't been sealed properly (I know, I've made this mistake before) and artichoke hearts that weren't.....well, it was maybe one part of a heart, cut into small pieces...all in some sad vinegar/oil. A joke for about $10 I believe. I drank tea...my friend 2 drinks...bill was $40. KTown is a SMALL town Tango. People talk...Get it together

My first time at the tango. The food was great and we really enjoyed the atmosphere there. There was a DJ set up in the back, he was playing a lot of new jazz, funky house, and broken beat. I think his name was Ali, super nice guy. He spins there on fridays. Tango, we will definitely be back for sure. Keep the fantastic music going. The friday night DJ is now my favorite guy in kingston. Thanks Tango.

I went there for my birthday expecting it to be a pretty relaxed environment. The sweet potato fries are great, but they were served almost cold. The chicken satay was a bit dry.
Everyone else enjoyed their main dish, but I sent back the roast chicken. It was dry and tough. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen, or boiled--not pleasant. The sauce on the dish was not above average either. I asked for a new piece of chicken, but the waitress (definitely inexperienced) didn't know what to do with my utensils when she took my plate and stood awkwardly waiting for something to happen! She came back with my dish and said they couldn't have another piece of chicken ready for another half hour, so she suggested getting something fried which would be ready quicker. I settled for the spanakopita, which was good.
Overall the service was mediocre, the bartender went out front for a smoke during a commercial break, and the food was average. It was a disappointing way to spend my 19th! I might go back for drinks or appetizers, but my mojito was a double and I could barely taste a hint of alcohol. - Order: Chicken satay, sweet potato fries, scallops appetizers. Main dishes: lamb rack, seafood pasta, salmon, roast chicken breast.

I go to Tango a few times a week and it is always really, really good. The Grilled Sirlion and Brie is awesome - hard to tell the difference in consiistancy between the sirloin and the melted brie! The Mango burger is also very good and comes with a really interesting salad. The services is usually pretty good unless the place is packed and then it can sometimes take a little longer to get food and drink but when I compare it to the other restaurants Tango always seems to do it little better. Huge martini and mixed drinks selection. Super cool atmosphere. Beautiful servers and bar staff.
- Order: Mango Burger, Grilled Sirloin and Brie,Beer, Dry Martini
