The best prime rib in Kingston. Tender, juicy and the yorkshire pudding to die for. If you want prime rib, this is the place. I can't comment on anything else because I only go there for the prime rib but my party had other things and they were quite happy with their choices. The cost and the atmosphere are great!
- Order: Prime rib, stir-fry.

We eat here about once a month and it is consistently good. This is not haute cuisine, but an features an extensive menu of generous portions well prepared. The canelloni (wrapped in a crepe rather than pasta) is my favourite of many versions I tried in numerous restaurants.
If you are looking for infusions, coulis, confit and food towers - add $20 and head downtown. - Order: rib eye steak, canelloni, Italian salad for 2

The food was not edible, Mushoom caps had fake crabmeat, coctail shrimp, mushroom pieces and no taste. Veal Oscar had fake crabmeat and not real veal. A Veal pattie coverd in a sauce. Lamb chops had no lamb taste with beef sauce poured on top. Trout was the only dinner that was edible and good.Waitress was pleasant enough. Ambiance with white tableclothes certainly doesn't match the food and hardly any patrons. Hotel said it was a posh restaurant. Never would return. Worst meal ever.
- Order: Mussels, stuffed mushroom caps, trout, lamb chops, chicken cordon bleu, Veal Oscar

I have eaten at this restaurant on 4 occasions, because it is my in-laws' favourite. I have never had a really good experience here, although I did once have a sandwich and salad at lunch that was okay. On the most recent visit the fettucine Alfredo was salty, heavy, greasy and did not taste as though it had been made fresh. The salad greens were not in peak condition (about 1/3 of the salad had greens that I would not have served my pet rabbit). The service was average. This is a restaurant that really should take "Fine dining" out of its name. My in-laws enjoy it for the old fashioned heavy sauces, lots of butter and salt and familiar dishes, but for people who are looking for a more contemporary and fresher style of dining, this is just not a place to consider.
- Order: house red wine, caesar salad, fettucine Alfredo

The place was nice, service was good, although our bread basket never got refilled as it did at other tables. My husband ordered the Steak Atlantis and the shrimp were overdone and the steak fatty. I ordered the Coho Salmon Filet. First off, I ordered it poached and got it pan fried, and second, it was not Coho salmon but Atlantic salmon. It was still very tasty, however, the rice was very salty and I stopped eating it when I encountered a piece of something which was very hard (and surely not meant to be in the rice). To give the staff credit, I was only charged half the price for my meal. Vegetables were bland and unimaginative. I doubt I would return.
- Order: Steak Atlantis Coho Salmon Filet Rye and Coke White wine

My boyfriend and I love this spot. We don't go often because we are young and don't have the money, or else we would eat here all the time! The service, food, presentation and atmosphere is nothing short of impeccable. Every part of the experience from the moment you enter the door to the time you exit the door is refreshing and delightful. The food is always prepared perfectly and the service is top knotch (we have both worked in the service industry). The prices may be a little high but you cannot put a price on quality.

Terrible! We will never be back because of the service or lack of it and the disrespect we recieved at this establishment. We waited for 1 hour to be served and saw our waitress once. There were 4 adults in our group-we and we will never be back. The staff were rude and ignored us and the so called supervisor wasn't at all sympathetic to our concerns and terrible experience. I even wrote a note to the owner and he ignored us too by not even bothering to respond.

First time at this restaurant. I was pleased, but not blown away or anything. My prime rib was great, perfectly cooked, but my husband had veal parmesan, and he had the side options of rice, potato, fries or lasagne? Usually veal parmesan is served over pasta with sauce, but he said it was good anyway. Desert was presented on a tray, and everything looked delicious! Wine list was great, and my escargot appetizer was just perfect.

Ramekins is a great place to dine. While their menu is varied, I particularly enjoy the lamb. One grandson enjoys fish, and there are several choices. The food is prepared to your direction, wonderfully presented by a staff which is pleasant and attentive, but does not hover. The wine list is extensive. There is a childrens menu, and a playroom for little ones who may be restless. The music does not interfere with conversation. Special requests are handled with grace. There are seperate rooms for a little more privacy, especially for a family celebration which may get a little loud.......it really is a place where you feel at home. Their prices are in line with other restaurants in the fine dining category. Have never been disappointed.
