Peter's Place Restaurant

I went to the restaurant 11:50am on sunday morning. I ordered a cup of gravy. the owner said they won't serve Gravy till 12:00 and that they only offer eggs right now. Obviously he doesn't realize that i order $40 dollor worth of takeout from them almost every sunday including fries and gravy at 11:30am. I am sure if i asked for fries and gravy instead just a cup of gravy, he will definitly sell it to me. but from now on, I won't spend another dime in there anymore.

Traditional good diner food, no pretentious atmosphere or high prices. The place is spotless, has efficient waitstaff and is overseen by the owner who hangs out behind the till.

The only drawback is it is too busy. You usually have to wait for a table and there is no room to wait in the restaurant. One one occasion we had to wait an unacceptably long time for service because they didn't have enough waitstaff on duty.

The food was good. The hamburger was a real patty, and my omelette had a ton of good feta in it.

On a trip to Kingston, we walked around downtown looking for a place for breakfast, and this was the first we saw. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table outside. Once seated, the service was pretty quick. The food was okay. Nothing special. The toasts were on the small side, the over easy eggs barely runny, and the home fries seemed to have bits of other food in them. Because we were really hungry, this was acceptable, but far from the best breakfast I've ever had.

Great place for a decently priced breakfast in the downtown core! Great portion sizes and selection. Has a really nice vibe and always full or regulars.

I think for the price we paid it was very good,the cook is consistant and good ,the ingrediance of of good quality .The place is clean and service is good .I would recomend to any one who is looking for a good meal for a good price ,he also seams to get a lot of locals eating there and that is a good sign. Will be going in on my next visit in Kingston .

The food is always fast, tasty, and affordable. The service is always friendly and your coffee cup is never empty!

called 10 mins ahead. got there early and my salad was ready to go. took less than a minute to pay. meal was delicious i have gone back at least 4 times in the last two months.

The food is great tasting and very affordable for the amount of food that is served. The service was quite good; the servers were very hospitable and glad to meet our needs. In all a great restaurant in Kingston that I recommend to everyone.
