went for south indian food.had masala dosa which was great!good to have dosa in kingston.mango lassi and chai tea was great too and nice little place with friendly service.

The service was exceptionally friendly. Nice personal contact with customers. We have tried most of the specials and they are all wonderful and a great value. The a-la-carte curries are also excellent.

The mango lassi is amazing! The owner and his wife are extremely nice and will come to meet you usually. The food is authentic Indian food. They also make home-made yogurt!

The buffet was really good, service was great, people are so friendly. My favourtie was the butter chicken and the round snacks. I forget the name but the lady said that they are made of potatoes and it was really delicious I kept going back for more of those. Had a great time and dining experience! I would recommend it for everyone!

I decided to go to this restaurant to try something new and was right away impressed with the service. The lady that served us was very friendly and the chef also came out later to greet us. The food was excellent as the curry had great flavour and the naan bread was excellent. I had not heard of this place before but I am glad I went and will certainly be coming back.

Attended the Friday night buffet with movie. First time at this restaurant which is located in a strip mall. The decor was not appealing; the carpet could have been vacuumed! The woman who greeted us was friendly enough but the owner and chef barely said hello even though the restaurant was empty (as we were early for the buffet). He was very friendly with customers who arrived later and who were apparently regulars. I guess we were not worthy!

The food at the buffet was all right. Nothing that I would recommend other than the naan bread was good. The different curries were spicy but watery. I attended one of the Loblaws cooking sessions years ago, when the chef was preparing Indian/Pakistan dishes and the food then was quite good.

The movie was presented on a small tv placed in a couple of the corners of the restaurant and wasn't interesting enough. I thought it would be song and dance Bollywood but it was more of a soap opera show.

So overall the buffet was disappointing and I would not go back for it. However, if back in that part of town, maybe I would go back and order off the menu, as other posters seem to have enjoyed their meals.

The food and overall experience was great!! My kids even liked the butter chicken even though they ordered chicken tenders and scrambled eggs! Highly recommended restaurant!

The masala omelette is amazing! It has fresh spices, including chilis. The service is awesome and the chai tea is the best. Thanks!!
