Im going to start with the service because it soured the experience. To be honest I will try to visit this restaurant again under different circumstances. I was meeting family and friends in town and our party was 10 people at least all on separate bills. That being said our service was brutally slow and our waitress was just a bit scattered.
For example.
Took nearly an hour to get bread & sauce
Another 45 minutes for appetizers
Our main en trees arrived approximately 2 1/2 hours after we arrived.Other than that the food was good (small portions but thats to be expected at a place like this). The dish I had was very rich but not overwhelming. Could have been a little bit warmer but again the party size probably influenced this.
I will return and hopefully get out of the restaurant in under 4 hours.

Gee. Don't know what people complained about, we have visited Luigina may times, and have always found the food & service fantastic. The chef & owner Luigina, went out her way on the 8th (big snow storm) , to give us a lift home as there were no taxis to be had. We love her!!! & be assured we will be back again.

I adored the food. I had an escargot in red wine sauce to start me off, then a seafood pasta dish. Although a touch pricey, the food was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was incredible! I would recommend this place for those romantic dates and anniversaries!
I loved the food. I can't wait to go again!

The salads were unremarkable. Lettuce on a plate with some cucumbers. Easily done at home and would taste the same. The minestrone was surprisingly rather bland in light of all the salt.
The pasta was actually quite good - both the mushroom and the seafood. You could tell the pasta was homemade. But, it wasn't enough to make me want to come back.
The wait staff was so-so... not the worst, and not the best...
If you come here - order the pasta and nothing else.. - Order: Funghi Linguini (x2), Luinguni Gamboretti, Salad special, Insalata Mista, Soup special (minestrone)

One of the worst restaurants I've eaten in, in a long time. I was surprised, as I had heard good things about this particular spot. The food was horrifically salty, which generally suggests the use of powdered chicken/beef stocks. Very poor service, in addition. Store bought desserts, which were very unpleasant (I asked). I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
