  • The Kingston Brewing Company is where we always end up when we come to eat down town. We're usually there about once a month.
The food is consistently great; our favorite menu item hands down is the Decriminalized Chicken Pot Pie. The smoked quarter chicken is also excellent.
The KBC has a great atmosphere with a cozy courtyard garden patio out back and a streetside patio out front for the warmer days.
The service is usually good. We've only had less than stellar service once in all of our visits.
The beer's tasty and there's usually a seasonal specialty. Try the Pooh's Brew Honey Ale if you're visiting during the summer.
Great food, beer, atmosphere and service will keep us coming back.

  • We arrived at 7:30 p.m. on a Thursday night - the curry special was sold out! Ale was not impressive, lamb burger overcooked and dry. One of our party ordered fries with his meal, was given salad. Not impressed with our server or the food. Definitely would not return.

  • Ive been to Brew Pub countless times, sometimes for food, sometimes just for drink.

The food that Ive sampled is pretty good pub food. I usually go with Fish and Chips with a pint and its brilliant. Ive also had the lamb burger, nachos etc.
Nice patio, good atmosphere, great pub overall

The service is the only thing that can be delightful or brutal. A few of the girls are friendly, fast and know their stuff. Some just seem surly and not that pleasant but you'll find this at any full bar on a Friday night.

  • Order: Fish and Chips, 2 Pints of White tail

  • I love the look of this pub and have had a few good nights drinking there but Im seriously considering never going back. I was looking forward to a full bodied dark ale but was disappointed with my servers recommendation: Dragon's Breath Ale (it was rather bland and lacking in body). My disappointment with the beer, however, was nothing compared that with my food. I know this is a pub and I shouldnt expect great quality food but my Chicken Parmesan was terrible. Dry chicken breast, penne pasta with canned tomato sauce and to top it all off a very sad looking slice of processed mozzerella cheese. If I was to go back I think I would stick to the burger or fish and chips...not too much that can go wrong there.

  • Despite having a significant proportion of the food pre-made and frozen for later use (at least it's not all Sysco), the food is actually quite edible. My fiancée and I go here every time we're in Kingston, if we have already been to Atomica, that is.

Beer is fairly good, not stunning, but it's local, unique, and definitely worth a trip!

  • This steak sandwich with ghetto sauce was probably one of the best sandwiches I've had! My partner had the (and always has) the club which he raves is the best club ever! The fries are great but the gravy is flavorless. I prefer a chicken gravy. The dessert we had was out of this world! The warm chocolate tart made with beer was the most unique delicious dessert I have experienced in my lifetime! The service is ok. They are polite, cleancut and friendly and they don't get in your face too much. I hate to be bothered too much when I'm eating.
Very inexpensive and if you do drink there is a wonderful selection of beer and liquor. I do not drink and still had a great time.

  • This is a great place, homey, welcoming, awesome food - much better than regular "pub food". The portions are generous, food is hot and tasty and the service is friendly. We'll definitely visit again the next time we're in Kingston.

  • After my friend got their beer, he realized that it was extremely flat. We told the server, and she took the beer back to the bar. She then brought it back and told us there was no point in getting another one, and that it would be a waste not to drink the one we had ordered! Not something I'd expect from a place that promotes their own beer! The food was bland and service was poor. Will not return.
