everything was top notch. Service was excellent. Food was probably some of the best I have had. Excellent wine list as well as Great prices.

After 15 years as a regular customer...even though the food has been lacking lately and the service has become deplorable... we still continued to go. Less, but we were loyal.
Then, when the service became almost unbearable, we were price gouged to top it off. Never mind the restaurant consistantly being out of regularly stocked wines, and running out of dishes.
The best part, they gave us the 'I don't even care" attitude when we discussed the gouging issue and told them we had decided never to return, after the poor treatment and utter rudeness.

Guess they've forgotten how much damage can be done by this type of treatment.
Used to recommend this place to everyone...not lately and definately never again!

Came in from out of town with my wife a few weeks ago and asked around for a good downtown restaurant with nice meat. Someone told us to check out Greco's.

We came in around six and the place wasn't too busy, but waited at the door for at least 5 minutes while servers were walking by us without saying a word, So my wife and I sat at an open table, and it was like I ran over a kitten the way the server looked at me.

We ordered a glass of wine each and I asked the server if the big steak was New York Striploin and he said yes. I got my steak and it was New York Sirloin... a big difference. I said to the server this is sirloin. He said impossible. Little does he know I am a butcher. I didn't even bother trying, sent the steak back asked for the bill and left.

Amazing. never been let down, and have been there many many times. Great food, and great service. the place is a bit squichy though. I really hope they would make it a bit bigger. And I am not a fan of the two booths they have there. Seem too casual compared to the other tables. But great food!

We had company on the weekend the students came back and couldn't get in anywhere. I called Grecos and they fit us in. The place was packed, but the service was amazing! The food was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals. I always forget what an excellent restaurant this is!! I will be back sooner this next time!

For anyone who is visiting from out of town do not hesitate to visit Grecos.. My husband and I go there everytime we visit and we always have a great time..
I find the negative reviews about the food and the staff to be hilarious and most likely undeserved.. Lets face it complainers often over estimate their importance in this world.. The food has always been exceptional and the servers actually have personalities, unlike most of the chain restaurants that offer up their pre-frozen menus in a sterile enviroment..
