On a trip to Kingston, we walked by this little place's terrace and decided to have lunch. The waitress was really quick to get us drinks (and even though it was only water, she kept it coming without us ever having to ask). We wanted something quick and cheap, so stayed off the pizza menu. The blackened wrap was delish: spinach, goat cheese, tomatoes, red bell pepper, in a sauce that I can't described but that was awesome. The fries were okay. Only downside was that there were no umbrellas so the sun was hitting us pretty hard. Best wrap ever.

My boyfriend & I went there on a long weekend. We had asked for extra tomato sauce on our pizza. When it came there was barely any sauce on the pizza. Our server was quite busy & seemed to be the only staff waiting tables. As a result, we were unable to get her attention to let her know about our pizza & were unable to get drink refills. When she finally came to our table we let her know about the pizza. She said, "Let me make it up to you with dessert." So we ordered an ice cream dessert. I paid by credit card & when I looked closely at the bill, I discovered that we had been charged for the dessert & the pizza. In my 10 years experience as a server, when a restaurant is attempting to reconcile a situation with a guest, the dessert would be complimentary, especially when the server used the phrase, "to make it up to you." When we questioned the lady who had been our server, she said that the charge had already been put through on my credit card & there was no way of reversing it. We realize that it was a busy evening but we were very unhappy about how this was handled & we will not return to this restaurant.
