Hawgs Breath Saloon

Each time we visit Kincardine, my husband & I make sure we go to Hawg's Breath. Always friendly service, good food & drinks. The peanuts add to the fun, neighbourly atmosphere.

Will not return. Sub par food. Seems like kids are running this place, some polishing and refining is needed.... and loose the peanuts.

Great spot to go to and very good food and service, but which they had menus instead of the blackboard - easier to read & decide. Overall nice spot to take friends & family for any meal.

After finally deciding to try Hawg's Breath (the outside is slightly misleading and doesn't give you the impression of warmth that you feel inside), I am very happy to have a new Kincardine hangout. The service was warm and attentive, the drinks were great, and the food, although microwaved, was quite delicious! They serve creative warm sandwiches and soups that really hit the spot on a cold day. The drinks were excellent, and I really appreciated the nice, cozy atmosphere.

Love this restaurant. Very friendly staff provide prompt and courteous service in a lovely old bar somewhat reminiscent of a Brit pub. Good selction of draft beer and whiskeys etc. Food is simple but tasty. Nothing they could do to improve in my opinion. Bit noisy when full but best place to eat and hang out in Kincardine.

I would defintely come back here for drinks, as it it is a good drinking atmosphere. But really, it's very obvious that they don't have anything other than a microwave to heat stuff up, which is very limiting. I mean, what kind of a restaurant only has a microwave? The food was ok, but you can do better at Gilleys and they have a full kitchen.

Great food - mostly sandwiches, wraps and soups but they do them well rather than trying to do too much.

They have a great variety of beer on tap, I went with a Stella that evening.

Their ambiance is nice, wood and leather furniture plus peanuts on every table. They don't mind if you drop the shells on the floor.

Excellent food! Great choices of pub style meals.
