Hong Chow Chinese Food Dining Lounge & Take Out

I've been going to Hung Chow with my family since I was four. The food is always great, the service as well. Since the renovations I wondered which direction the restaurant would take, and I was glad to see the old favorites are still there. They've added alot to the buffet, which has fantastic variety. Good sushi at a buffet? Yep. Reasonably priced too. I love the updated look, the washrooms are gorgeous.

I love this place, the decor is very urban and upbeat, the buffet was great especially the sushi they make! Although there was not so much choices to choose from, and some was a bit greasy EX: The potstickers are all grease. But other than that, amazing!!!! and the sushi was soo good!
The desert was not very good, but who wants desert when you can have sushi!

Went for the buffet which was very apetizing coz includes all you can eat sushi!! Will go again as the price is cheap and the food is fabulous

I thought that the buffet was amazing! The food tasted great and the sushi part was a great bonus! I loved how they even served us fresh salmon. Other places don't do so, so i'm glad I found a place that does. The food was NOT stale and was NOT oily. I don't really understand why people say that. Also, the waitress and waiter was really polite and friendly. Overall, the atmosphere is great, food and service is great, so I don't now why you wouldn't come here!

I've been there at least 4 times and each time the food was great. I was quite pleased to see a sushi selection and even more pleased that it was delicious. The hot and sour soup was very good too. In fact I'm going there again tonight.

Even though some people I know strongly dislike the food, I don't see a problem with it. There is lots of selection and fresh sushi made all the time. Some things, like tempura, are present where they cannot be found in other buffets. Even though tempura and sushi are not Chinese, it's still a nice addition.

The food is not fresh and the fried wontons and eggrolls tasted rancid. They do have a good dumpling soup. They refill you water often, take away your empty plate promptly, and are quick to bring the bill and are polite. They also have direct payment at your table, which is much appreciated. Too bad most of the food tastes stale and the fried foods taste like stale oil. I have ordered take-out and been to the buffet several times over the past year and it is always the same, although this last time was the worst. Too bad because I live nearby and would have been a regular customer. After the last visit I felt physically ill after eating only half the plate, so I will not be back.

We ate the buffet and everything that looked good. The sushi is delicious. My boyfriend has never been there before and it was his first time and he loved it. And plus we were with a lot of friends As a matter of fact we were thinking about going back soon.

Love this restaurant. My cousin took me here for the sushi and I loved it so much that I took my wife the next day. Will definitely come back - service, food - all good.
