Eggroll Plus

This is the worst Chinese take-out restaurant we''ve every tried. Not only were dishes small, they also lacked meat etc. Our bill for 5 people came to over $70, included a delivery charge and this wasn''t even enough food for 5 people. E.g. their extra large fried rice came in a 2 cup styrofoam bowl - who are they kidding?

Really Not So Good. Barely any sauce in the dishes I ordered, so they were really bland. Questionable cuts of meat in the 'crispy' beef ... which was soggy and loaded with dry breading. The chow mein was flavourless, perhaps because of the sparcity of sauce. Veggies were cooked nicely though. The spring rolls were barely eatable, dry, tasteless and uber greasy. The egg rolls were passable, tho i've had much better at several other take out places. Overall a waste of $30. May try again with different dishes ... i notice they offer a 'more sauce for $2' option which i'll likely use. Main selling point? They deliver.

Check your order, they seem to miss things sometimes (like almonds from the Almond Guy Ding). But a good place and fast - yum!

While picking up my order, the door to the kitchen was open and I witnesed an older chinese lady drop some brocolli on the floor and put it right back in the bin tha she was filling. I was so turned off but too embarrased to say anything. I regret paying for and eating what we ordered. NEVER AGAIN !!!

I have been going to Egg Roll plus for several years and the food and service have always been outstanding. With the consistent high quality food and the extremely personable service, I have been easily turned into a loyal Egg Roll plus customer, it is the best place to get Chinese food in Ottawa
